This could never go out of style. I'm a new Christian that listened to rap,hip hop R&B and Reggea music my whole life. I cannot stand any of it now. The Lord has changed my taste in music, dress , and everything else. When I first heard this music it touched my very soul. I love it. Praise God for this music, His grace and tender loving mercy ❤ God bless you

I came to Christ to this song… the Holy Spirit was pulling on my heart so strong to go forward and Satan was pulling me back.. I can still remember the struggle.. Thank you Jesus for winning the battle and for saving me that day in that itty bitty church.. I love you Jesus .. Your sacrifice… It is almost Resurrection Day.. thank you kind sir for touching my so in love with Christ heart.. Bless you.

But I would like to ask you, where in the bible is there an example of onde leader at the head of the congregation? my only intention is to show what the bible says, and if you are a person who seeks God's will, you'll understand what I'm talking about... 1Cor 14:29-33: "Let the prophets speak two or three, and let the other judge. If any thing be revealed to another that sitteth by, let the first hold his peace. For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted. And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints."

My hymn, not messed with...thank you so much. You cant know what this does for me! 51 years on and the night I was saved as a 8 year old kid who knew nothing eccept he needed a saviour is like a beacon in life...."Just as I am and waiting not to rid my soul of one dark blot". Many tears from me and my dad who was there with me! Beautifully sung....thankyou.

As a child who went to a church where we sang Acapella, this was my favorite song!! It made me cry when we would sing it. This is so beautifully done and takes me right back to being a little girl.

It’s so lovely to hear a hymn sung with such passion and worship of our Lord and Savior

In my youth, Just As I Am was one of the main songs sang during the alter call. The alter call is an invitation to come forward and publicly give your heart & soul to Jesus. I have very fond memories of this at church camp. Those days are long-gone, but still speak to me every time I hear this song. You sing it beautifully.

Heavenly music. So uplifting for my soul.

When she was a girl, my wife attended worship services and a “Christian” school where pastors and evangelists used manipulation techniques. Sally came to associate this song with that kind of abuse so I have avoided listening to this video when she was at home. She isn’t right now so this is my first time listening to it. My parents died in the ‘80s but WOW does this ever remind me of them. Not that they used this particular song very much but everyone in our family sang and played instruments so we had lots of harmony at home and we were often invited to provide musical offerings during worship services. There were six of us so, in some of the places where we lived, our family was the nearest some folks had ever come to hearing a live orchestra or choir. One of those places a small congregation had a pump organ. The tone of that instrument when my mother played it was remarkably similar to that of many of your renditions; perhaps this one at least as much as any. Someone else mentioned breath control. I think I was not yet eight when my parents began teaching me how to avoid breathing in the middle of a phrase. (I can’t watch TV weathercasters. All the ones I’ve tried to watch in the last couple of decades breathe in the middle of almost every phrase!) If this kind of harmony existed in the music of the majority of today’s congregations, there would be more harmony (of another kind) in our nation and in our world.
