This goes super hard because it brings up one thing that’s not discussed often about dungeon meshi is the idea of “When does a heroic act become profane? When does a desire become obscene? What line can you cross before you become irredeemable?” It’s a core portion of the story and I love that. And it all starts with “what is too weird to eat?”

@@cookierunhaven3608 It would be better for you to read the manga but I'll tell you a little about Marcilles and Laios -When the group meets the winged lion and defeat the mad mage he makes Marcilles the new dungeon master and as a result he tells her that he will grant her greatest desires and he just gives her the outfit -The winged lion turned out to be evil (I won't tell you how) but Laois ends up becoming the dungeon master after Marcilles and the winged lion turned him into a monster that Laois made up (This information might be a little incorrect, it's been a while since I've read the manga)
