Not sure why one would expect period based movies to age well or anything that purports to show the history of how something was or how people interact differently throughout history. I suppose we could start to white wash every subject that might offend certain people's sensibilities, but then again those people might remain ignorant to history and the progress humans have made in our interactions with each other wouldn't they?
