I fully agree with you. Every born again Christian is guided by the holy spirit to weed out music that's not inspired by our Lord. Too many Christians either ignore this or were never truly born again. Let's keep being the salt of the Earth in this respect.

I grew up in a religion that preached that Jesus died for my sins, taking my place. Today I think Jesus died because of the sins of man, and I should do my best and not counting on unconditional redemption. Jesus only had two Commandments. Love God and love your fellow man. Both are in short supply today.

Hello beloved, Jesus died to take your place. We all sinned and our sins deserve the punishment death. We all would deserve eternal separation from God, because He is holy and His presence can't stand sin. Basically, by our actions you and I deserve hell because we sinned against the Most High, the God of the universe, the creator of heaven and earth. That's waaay worse, than sinning against the president of your country, which alone could give you a lifelong prison sentence. But sinning against God who is eternal would give us all the eternal separation from Him and His glory. Nevertheless, He loved us so much that He decided to place our punishment on His only perfect son Jesus Christ. It is written that God himself became flesh in Jesus and Jesus said that He is one with the Father. Yet He died on the cross the most inhumane, humiliating and terrible death possible, He who is one with God allowed Himself to be separated from God and instead gave us His righteousness as if we have never sinned. If you believe that He did this for YOU, that your sins were added to the cross when He died (because God knows all things, including which sins you would commit) and He placed them all on Jesus, you will be saved. That's the Good news of the bible - Jesus died for you so you don't have to. God loved you so much that He gave His only begotten son, to die for you and take your place so you can have peace with God. Jesus got to feel ALL sins on Himself as if they were His, including the punishment for every single one of them. But He did that out of love so you won't have to pay for your sins. If you paid for your own sins, you would end up in hell, in the place of death forever. Instead, Jesus went there with your sins (even though Jesus is the source of ALL life), He threw your sins away in the place of death where all sin belongs and then rose from the grave to meet us and spend eternity with us. Now you can stand before God in His blood, the blood of Gods perfect son, in His righteousness as if you have never sinned, because Jesus became the sacrifice of your sins. If you believe this, you will receive the Holy spirit of God, the same spirit that Jesus had, and this spirit will let you be born again and it will enable you not to sin or live in sin (of course we all sin because we are in this fallen flesh, but this spirit will give you a new nature and a new heart that makes you despise and hate sin). I am a Christian. Jesus died trying to teach us how to live. He did not die to coverup for you. dying to pay for my sins is a cult belief. I was raised Catholic and reject their man made views. Jesus died because of the sins of man, not for it.

@@lyssalouise2705 Grace covers us because we have all broken the law, but the law is still good moral standard and to ignore it and transgress it is still sin. We should hate sin and run from it, trying to keep the law. Knowing that we are not saved by the law, as we will stumble still, that's why Christ sacrificed Himself. The law and grace go hand in hand, they aren't at battle with one another.
