ingredients :
2 cups of sugar (400g)
1 cup of water (250g)
2 tbsp of lemon juice
1 tbsp of orange blossom water (optional)
3/4 cup of toasted almonds (70g)
1/2 cup of toasted cashews (70g)
1/2 cup of toasted peanuts (65g)
1/2 cup of toasted pistachios (75g)
* you can use any type of nuts , as you prefer
1/3 cup of dried apricots or raisins (60g)
2 cups of desiccated coconut (200g)
1/3 cup of butter (80g)

Hi. I am definetly going to try making these. But I have a few questions... What is the best way to store these and how long do they stay fresh?.... I live alone and just started dieting so I cant have too much of at once.

On my mind too...and I think i.ll add some raisins and maybe to give a festive touch...some red n green 🍒 ...hv made diff versions of this...but never with coconut...very easy n quick and i.m sure tasty option...Tks very much 😍👌
Adding dried cranberries will make it a wee hit more Christmassy too. Looks fab🌲

Ooohh I love that Idea! A little tart taste would be really good & I love cranberries. I am going to drizzle some chocolate across too which would be great with cranberry.

Oh my lord so good so good I did two batches one this way and I added pecans , Brazil nuts , macadamia nuts , to the second batch and melted chocolate and poured it over the coconut then added all the nuts minus the peanuts then drizzled chocolate over the top .
