Juror Says Jussie Smollett’s Story Made No Sense

The lone Black juror in the Jussie Smollett trial is speaking out for the first time. In an exclusive interview with WLS-TV, Andre Hope says Smollett’s claim that he was attacked in a hate crime by the Osundairo brothers simply made no sense. The 63-year-old retired civil servant said one piece of evidence convinced him Smollett had made up the story: the noose, which police video showed Smollett leaving on his neck. Hope also said he was disappointed to have only been the Black person on the jury.

@@darlinglysette9549 Couldn't have said it better myself. It looks like shoelaces because they went to home Depot, saw how expensive natural fiber rope is, and then looked at the cheapest one which is polypropylene, meaning plastic. That's the type of rope idiots buy, everyone rigging buys natural fiber rope. It breaks my heart even thinking about it, but you want a real historic racist lynching, look up Emmett Till. I don't get how someone like Jussie Smollett can figuratively spit on the graves of his ancestors, who were not only bound in shackles, and used as forced labor, but were also literally lynched just for the color of their skin.

Good parents would see through his lies and tell their son to step up and admit to what he's done, apologize and face the consequences of his actions. This was and still is about money. Doesn’t his team pick Jurors? Isn’t it randomly picked? It’s not like everyone was going to be like, “oh you’re that lone black juror.” States vary on deciding or picking jurors. Some pick it themselves, some play bingo picking it, some just pick them randomly and color isn’t an issue it just happens their # was called, etc. Is everything about race. My family is black, white, bi racial, and Cuban. It’s EXHAUSTING the race stuff all the time. Just be glad he did the RIGHT thing! He found that loser guilty! Plain and simple and he’s not the LONE BLACK JUROR. He was picked, called, did his duty, and found that dude who faked a hate crime guilty. This man did his duty and rightfully found that POC guilty.
