Jurgen Klopp & Andy Robertson open up on mental health as part of Heads Up campaign

Спорт

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and defender Andy Robertson have spoken openly about their mental health in support of the Heads Up campaign.
The six-part #SoundOfSupport series features current and former players, managers and famous fans paired up to have candid conversations about their personal experiences of mental health.
Heads Up is a campaign spearheaded by The Duke of Cambridge, in partnership between The Royal Foundation’s Heads Together and The FA, which aims to use the power and influence of football to change the conversation on mental health.
Klopp and Robertson sat down in Liverpool to discuss dealing with setbacks, the supportive culture at the new Premier League champions, and their mutual experiences of losing loved ones who never saw them make it in the game.

This is what I openly say about the team. Without klopp, there's no Liverpool. He's the head of the big animal that is Liverpool. Cut that head off and the team's dead as far as I'm concerned. Extend that contract with him as far as it's humanly possible! No money is out of the question for Klopp!

Yep, and listen to how players like Andy talk that he has recruited. He's never wanted to sign the players who are already the best, he wants to sign the players with a similar attitude to himself, similar outlook on life as himself, striving for success the way he does, he makes them into the best.

Short summary guys: I feel the same but have you ever thought as to why you feel such despair? You don't feel this way for no reason (obviously), so maybe something in society is truly fucked that is having a profound impact on your psychology like STRESS! In which then has a impact on your physiology, hence why you feel so crap about yourself. If you feel despondent about this life that us idiotic humans live, your right to feel this way. Makes you truly human, where as others act like robots so conditioned they can't see beyond their own delusions, hence dickhead people. In other words the SYSTEM IS THE PROBLEM AS TO WHY WE HAVE MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES! All the best guys. 👍

Depends tho because mental health issues has different connotations. For example mental health issue to me is: severe stress that one suffers greatly psychologically & physiologically that then impacts on their ability to function in society, hence human abnormal behaviour. That understanding isn't at the forefront of a lot of people's mind believe me, wish it was because we would all understand how truly destructive it is to a pleasant society something we absolutely don't have hence violence, despair and so on. All the best Claire.

Ladies and gentlemen as good as this conversation is we have to truly ask the ultimate question? Why do we have mental health issues to begin with? Maybe if we had a harmonious, intelligent, equal, collaborative world we wouldn't have nowhere near the issues we have today. One thing to note though on the mentality of “the world is a messed up place”, there will always be problems in the world, and if we always think about how messed up the world is then that mentality will turn into despair. We’re not responsible to fix the entire world, just our tiny portion of it.

@@simstander5471 That's a different kind of stress tho more egoic than logic and less severe. Take someone being in overwhelming debt, now you got real fucking stress, the kind that more often then not leads people to take their own life, when the concept of debt along is completely unnecessary just a component of a idiotic game we call life.
