How VIP should work. You spend 15,000 VIP Points on unlocking a creature. This then gives you one of those creatures, and unlocks that creature for purchase with DNA as long as you are still a VIP. Now, to keep VIP Points relevant. The DNA cost of these VIP creatures could be VERY high. BUT! Once you have unlocked a creature, its VIP Point cost gets cut in half! So it now costs 7,500 VIP Points to buy a pack. This to me is the most effective way VIP could be done.

Beaver, I really do appreciate your honesty and analysis of this. I had been debating about getting VIP (if I got back in the game, of course), but this helped make my decision. Besides, in the end, VIP creatures can barely hold their own against the more powerful hybrids if that's all you're facing in battle.

In the tournament: every single time I've won and was able to get a spin, I ALWAYS got food or coin, no packs, no DNA and no bucks... It was so frustrating

Oh I'm early. Guess I'll make a joke. The VIP system on this game.

Don't forget about the part where there's only one pack every so often, so if you want a certain creature it will be even LONGER until you can get it max level 40, making you pay more for the opportunity to get the dinosaur that you want

I just wanna say thanks for this video. I play this game since it was in the stores, I've played it because I couldn't wait for the movie to come, I was so happy as we've got the hybrids and now just because of that it hurts much more what become out of it. I'm so happy that you finaly say something about it too because it seems like Ludia didn't take us normal players very serious.

Actually when your V.I.P. acount expires, it will tell you how much v.i.p. point you had before the subscription ended, cant use them, neither can you gain or loose them. When you buy it back, it gives you all the V.I.P. points back to you.

I really do not want to defend this practice, but you forgot one thing about the vip membership: The vip event that allows you to win one legendary pack per week. If we take that into context: 4 legendary pack a month(you get 1 a week) X 3 month (one VIP membership)= 12 legendary packs + 1 legendary pack(you get one when you join vip) = 13 packs. $50(american cost of a pack, they are too expansive imho) X 13 packs= $650 value. You get $650 worth of legendary packs, plus 3 vip creature pack for $40.

that´s everybody knows, and its great, i really think that that must be a free event, for player from higher lvl, so they can max legendary, and what beaver says is nos wrong, in my opinion, paying for op dinosaurs, thats the bad thing, cause even op creatures like priotrodon or indominus, are far but not impossible of getting, but a maxed vip creature is literally destroying every free creature. And if we think about the hackers, they will get all of those creatures, for free, and will get them in every fight, you know what i mean? they never should have made that, its too obvious that is only for making money, but they are not very smart, i´m from argentina, imagine this 1 dolar=15 pesos (money of my country) multiply it and is not worthy, even less if you get coins or food probability -.- they have to think where this game is going, cause they are making the same mistakes than in jurassic park builder. If they make the packs cheaper, they will sell more, and even the hackers will only gain a boost in time, but no in quality, that is the easiest way of making it fair for everyone, cause sooner or later you will catch up with them :/

I think the only game Ludia hasn't goofed on is Rise of Berk, inspired by How to Train Your Dragon. Each dragon, other than same species reskins, have unique animations, even if the changes are small. The dragons even increase in size as they gain levels! It too has packs and "runes" (Which are essentially bucks) and exclusive dragons, but you don't have to buy anything. The game makes it so easy to get these creatures, although it is luck of the draw sometimes. If they could do that with this game, or even Jurassic Park Builder, it could be so much more enjoyable.

As someome who has been poor for most of my life this is ABSOLUTELY REVOLVING. I see games do this all the time and it never fails to make me sick how games will basicly steal from people.

I'm very happy you did all the math to let people know how they'll spending on a "FREE APP'' & I do have a VIP membership because this is my favorite game I've ever play to be honest. I'll always love this game because ever since it was released & have even know about the game. When it was still only a Australian exclusive game that's how much I love this game. I will admit I was absolutely FURIOUS when I seen the price tag for being a VIP & I thought. I'll get over it its $40 dollars American for 3 months & as if now I have 19-DAYS & 23-HRS left on my membership. I just HOPE Ludia changes how long your VIP membership to maybe 6 months or changes it were you do unlock the VIP creature. So that way you can actually own a VIP creature. You can buy the rest with DNA that is still the most scares resource in the game for those who play the game legitimately. Again Thank you James or reading this long comment if you read it that is. I DON'T KNOW any that's enough taking me BYE BYE.

To anyone who is having trouble with the Edustus Tournament: You can use Level 40 super rares and up until you get to Dominator Leage. Once at dominator leage, you can use level 30 Legendaries and up. Hope this helped.

I know all the dinosaurs I'm using in hunter are a complete overkill such as legendary lvl 30s and maxed super rares. I thought I was going to be face maxed super rares and lvl 30 legendarys and ankylodoncus lvl 10 but I was wrong I gave lvl 20 super rares and maxed rares with lvl 10 tournament creatures and lvl 10 through 20 and lvl 10 through 20 common through super rare hybrids

Awesome video Beaver being from Australia VIP for me is $50 and a Legendary pack or Aquatic pack goes for $80 the pricing on this game is seriously broken. I am so glad you put this video up Beaver it's what most of us that are playing this game are thinking. To be honest if you look at all the other free downloadable game out there the pricing is also high but no where near as high as Jurassic Wold. I think the mind blowing part is that this game targets all age groups from kids up to adult. I mean who in there right mind would give there child $80 dollars to buy a pack on a video game or subscribe them to a VIP pack for $50 it's ridiculous. Look at a magazine subscription you pay say $12 dollars a month for a subscription and that for something you can hold in your hand not a free to play game.
