It actually makes sense since Rexy is pretty old and weak. She is 34 years old, Trevorrow confirmed that she was near from the age of her death (since InGen’s T-Rex have an average lifespan of 28 years) So of course, against an all new, bigger and young apex predator like the Giganotosaurus, she wouldn’t last long (and I don’t even talk about the Spinosaurus who actually is stated to hunt down T-Rexes on Sorna, source : Dinosaur Protection Group+Jack Horner in the making of JP3+Erik Kirby directly stating that the Spino is attracted by T-Rex pee)

I like how every fan animation I've seen has the Spino randomly show up lmao, like not complaining it's just funny to see everyone in the community wanting the Spino to show up in the end, which would've been cool.

The one nitpick I have here is how the Theri’s one broken claw managed to land perfectly upright. An edit I’d make is when the Rex has the Theri’s in it’s mouth and the Giga tries to charge at her while she’s looking away, Rexy tosses the Theri towards the Giga and in the collision is impaled and collapses atop the Theri.

I like the idea of it being a free-for-all instead of a team up, but I do gotta admit that finishing move was a little underwhelming (assuming Giga actually died from it.) Personally I’d have Rexy finish off Theri by snapping its neck, then roaring at Giga before getting interrupted by Spino and a brawl breaks out between all 3 of them, maybe even get a sort of “team up” between Rexy and one of the two to take out the other, depending on which you consider more of a villain. After Rexy deals the finishing blow, the other theropod retreats, and she roars dramatically.

Ya know, what would make this more interesting is that the Giganotosaurus isn't a normal Giga, but a highly advanced engineered Giga. Like the Indominus but without the spikes and long claws

Nobody talks about how insane this 3d animation was

My comments: 1.The first part of fight was handled well by not having Rexy being trashed by Giganotosaurus all the time. 2.The author did try to make the Therizinosaurus more than a third fighter than “Rexy’s new ally.” 3.However,the death of Giganotosaurus was still underwhelming,it took me several times to figure out that the cause of this Giga’s death, was falling upon a broken claw of Therizinosaurus. 4.Instead of an unexpected ally/helper, the Spinosaurus was more like a hidden boss in this short,as well as making the result of the confrontation open.Personally, I prefer the Spinosaurus being an unexpected ally than being a hidden boss.

I love it how the dinosaurs move very slowly while also being filmed from low angles, just like Godzilla 2014.

This fight was amazing although I would’ve made the ending similar to the one we got in the film. Theri shoulve been aggressive to both since the start and makes no sense it teamed up with Rexy whatsoever which is what I really liked about this animation. I also really like Rexy’s tactical thinking here since it really shows she’s experienced in battle, she knows she can’t take down the Giga by brute force anymore so she has to find some other way to kill it and the Therizinosaurus as well. But back to the ending bit, I would’ve had Rexy pull back the Giga and line him up so that she could push him into the Theris claws. Once that is done all she had to do was to bite down on the Theris neck to finish it off since it wouldn’t be able to defend itself with its claws stuck to the Gigas body.

Honestly so much better than what we got in the film. The theri attacking the rex and them both not teaming up to bully the giga is so much better.

My main issue, is THERI WAS BLIND IN THE MOVIE. Theri is clearly not blind for this reimagining so you'd have to reimagine a lot more of the movie for this ending to work out. Likely with Claire being cut in half by the Theri or turned into a pinata.

@@Prehistoric-productions the not fighting Rexy thing was dumb but the hits thing isnt hard to explain. The Giga was literally standing in the middle and making lots of noise, all the Theri did was swipe in front of it and it scored hits and when the Giga bit the Theri's hand, thats an easy spot to figure out where to swing your other giant claw. I know its for fun, just an issue that would change the film if the Theri had fought like this just for the reimagining. Someone else also said it... Spino was way too fanservicey at the end there that even for Jurassic films it was super cheesey. 😂

What frustrated me about the original fight is we got like 1 minute of screen time for the Therizinosaurus and Gigantosaurus before the fight. When the fight happened I was in shock by these guys showing up. Not because of how cool it was, but I had no idea who they were. Great job on the fight.

I would like the film to bring Rexy back, like, she lost the battle with Indominus, but now was her time to shine, with all the experience she gained killing predators

Herbivores don't seek for quarrel with predators, they only defend themselves if the situation requires it.

Spino and claw position aside, this is way better than the actual figth, even without rexy dealing the killing blow; if rexy also landed the killing blow unaided, then it would be close to perfect. The best part is the giga vs rex blow trading, much more balanced.

This was incredible. But perhaps we can all agree, the Therizinosaur didn’t have to be a part of this final fight in the first place. It could’ve been a clash between Rexy, Giga and Spino!!!

Fight between T.Rex and Giga should be balance, they're most likely equal. Giga has razor-sharp teeth while Rex has strong jaws. So in reality, whoever gets the first bite on the neck wins but I would love to watch them fight longer. Just the two of them.

The final battle was good. Y'all can cry about it
