Jupiter in ♍👧 In Stoychev's contemporary exaltation scheme, Jupiter is both exalted and exiled in Virgo. We think of Virgo as having the 'practical wisdom' of Pallas Athena, accrued through disassembly and critique. I use "Prudence" as a keyword for this placement. I also think of Jupiter's red spot - it's bloody wound - and the tragic splendour of the Priest-King. This burden, like the Sacrifice of Christ (or to a lesser extent, the evangelical counsels of perfection), would most certainly be exalted in the sign of Virgo, the pious nun.

My son is a Pisces sun and sag moon and rising, and has Jupiter in libra in the 11th conjunct MC. He is only 4 but everything has to be BIG with this kid. When I ask him what he wants to be when he grows up he just says HUGE. He takes enormous bites of food (like ridiculously big bites but he just likes it that way 🤷‍♀️). He also is popular with his friends because he will rig up all the bikes in the play yard so he can pull multiple friends around all at once. Excited to see how his Jupiter plays out through his life. My daughter also has an exalted Jupiter in cancer and is extremely generous, almost to a fault sometimes. Loved this talk, thanks!!

The moment he looked up at the sky after saying Jupiter wasn’t his favorite planet was the most wholesome thing I’ve seen in a long time.

I have Jupiter conjunct my Ascendant in a day chart so I'm very excited to watch this. It's a bit ironic that the planet of expansion has the shortest episode so far though Chris!!

Great talk :) . Samuel was a great choice for a guest, love his sincere voice and critical thought approach and his contributions on the old 'Pluto' episode too. As Jupiter is the only planet that exerts a force on the Sun strong enough to pull it from its center point, the themes of expansion / aspiration and deep knowledge maybe in fluid dialogue with the creative will of the Sun. One may imagine that the sweeping effect from Jupiter / Sun opposition to Jupiter / Sun conjunction is a powerful waxing a waning cycle net around our personal planets. I have Jupiter in ♌

I think that this interview may be my favorite that you have done Chris.. Sam and you both have such a deep knowledge of astrology. . Also the harmony that you seem to have with one another created a great flow to this video. I learned more about how Jupiter function in my own life. It’s so interesting that you mentioned @39:00 law of attraction and how it comes naturally to some people with Jupiterian energy just based on their optimistic nature. I’m a Pisces sun, Sagittarius moon, Scorpio rising with 9th house Jupiter in Leo (close to my Leo mid heaven). I very much relate to having an extreme faith and optimism and having things just constantly work out for me. I noticed it really annoy others at times but I view it as nothing short of a divine blessing lol.

My daughter was born during my Jupiter return. Jupiter is in my 5th house. I never really wanted children before but now I can't imagine otherwise and consider myself really lucky that I got pregnant and am now able to experience what it is to be a mother.

Samuel is pretty fascinating and I hope he appears more in the future. I agree that humbleness is something that gets bestowed on a person rather than something anyone can manifest within themselves and I also agree that it can happen while acknowledging something greater than oneself, though I think it happens more out of fear of something greater than oneself like natural disasters or disease rather than something aspirational. Listening because I have Jupiter in Cancer in 11H and wanted to learn more about it. Great show as always.

This episode made me go back and listen to the podcast you did on cusps 3 years ago. Bc Sam is a Sagittarius but he was making suspiciously Saturnian comments (ex: “luck is preparation meets opportunity” Jupiter would never describe luck this way 🤣) I am a self-professed Sagicorn (Dec. 22) so I’m very interested in this topic. Sam’s comments on Jupiter vs. Saturn are like probabilities vs possibilities was PERFECT! I’m constantly oscillating between the two 😩😅

I loved this podcast. Last night I have order my Jupiter return from Samuel's website. I am soo impressed how the report was very insightful and easy to resonate Jupiter's each cycle. Now I know why transiting Jupiter conjuncting my Sun, Mercury and MC felt so intense because It was during the Jupiter square cycle. I was soo disappointed of how intense the anxiety was. Now I hope to be ready for all the cycles.

Jupiter in Taurus rules my Asc and is square Pluto and the nodes. Though I intended to remain childless, I could not find an effective method of birth control and was blessed with six children. Also, Taurus is my sixth house sign and I have a history of overcoming serious health challenges.

I also have jupiter in the 6th pisces rising! ughh it's been pretty crap. conjunct the south node. I have really severe health issues but luckily I finally found the solution and I'm heading towards the surgery next year. I still want to learn more about having chart ruler jupiter in the 6th

Lol. I grew up on a dairy and then a beef farm with 2 siblings. My father is now 97 and I am the youngest and am 57. My Jupiter is in Taurus in 4th whole house. We were expected to work on the farm and we did. When I was 15 my father and I took in ALL the hay. 7500 square bales. @40-50lbs each. We each handled each bake twice. I was the strongest 15 year old girl for miles. We have benefited financially through early inheritances.♉

Hi all, I'm a Sagittarius ♐ Sun, Mercury, and Mars with Jupiter in Virgo ♍ in the 3rd house. I have been paying attention to Jupiter this year as I've been in a Sagittarius profection, but generally there's always a bunch of Jupiter in my life. I have 12 siblings, and grew up in an evangelical household. My mom has a 4 planet Pisces stellium, and my dad has a 4 planet Sagittarius stellium. I have Pisces Rising as my Solar Return Rising sign with Jupiter in early Pisces & Neptune late Pisces in the 1st house. Very fertile placement from my understanding. My solar return started on June 9th. I found out last night that I’m pregnant! My man was ecstatic when I showed him the test. My last pregnancy was 12 years ago. I’m so happy. Sun in Taurus, Leo Rising, and Jupiter in Aquarius. So it's been -- interesting.

My Jupiter is ♓ in my 8th house 👀 I really enjoyed the podcast, but I just wanted to interject some input. People who have never truly suffered typically do have empathy, probably more readily available to them than the rest of us. They're just sheltered, and that's when often they can disbelieve somebody talking about their own suffering. It would shatter their world view, so it's more comfortable to stay within that bubble. However, people who lack empathy are always victims of trauma, typically in early childhood, when you are your most empathetic. They can't be open to emotions because then they'll be hit with the emotions regarding what they went through, which is completely overwhelming and makes you feel like you're going to die. Ironically, a lot more people than we think aren't engaging in empathy. We can see and hear the people who exert callousness or cruelty. But there are so many people who experienced trauma that limits their ability for empathy. The 'unseen' people without true empathy just learned how to simulate it, so we can have relationships and love. And it's not even really an act or anything. It just became a way of being to survive.

Jupiter on Leo Ascendant, Sun on Taurus Midheaven 10H here - when I was very young I was called bossy. It wasn’t until a few people called me arrogant and I was getting into astrology, that I took a closer look at what all that was about. Pluto conjunct Jupiter + Mars/Chiron opposite Jupiter made for even greater impact on others than I had ever realized. My spiritual practice over the decades has incorporated being able to acknowledge with humility the gifts I’ve been given and exercise this native magnanimity towards my own and others’ upliftment.

Even though I don’t have a Jupiter ruled sun or ascendant, Jupiter still seems to dominate my chart. My fiancé also has a first house Jupiter retrograde in Gemini, and my Jupiter return in Pisces is coming up, so I’ve been thinking about Jupiter’s influence A LOT lately 😅

13:00 Love this description of Jupiter associated with Mercy and Grace. I have Jupiter in Pisces ♓opposing my Sun.. I can vividly recall the moment I felt touched by Grace at an early age. It came with a recognition that I was 'apart' from my family. I should look into which year this occurred...over 45 years ago, born in '62. And being in the 10th house , "Preparation meeting Opportunity" describes well how I have obtained employment. I don't think I've ever gotten a job by applying, but through word of mouth and being prepared for opportunities as they presented themselves. Most notably during its return to Pisces in 98/99 when, as an older graduating college student, with children, I was determined to be a 'must hire' by a company that I went on to work for, and comfortably provide for my children as a single parent for almost 15 years.

really enjoyed this. my jupiter is in a stellium alongside saturn and pluto in libra in my 10th house. jupiter and saturn are conjunct, and less than a second apart, in the early degrees of libra. pluto wanted a little space and is closer to the end of the house. my sun and mars strongly oppose jupiter, as well.
