Where do you get the firmware?

Hey, so i have a problem with my v1 pro i already got the software on it that you just installed and whenever i try to use swc setup it just doesnt work. I followed every path like in the description but it cant save the changes. I drive a peugeot 2008 2014 edition Can you maybe help me?

I've had mine for half a year now and last week it started spamming "com.android.phone has stopped" errors, and starting today it won't get pass the boot logo. Am considering to try flashing new firmware, but it came pre-activated with Android Auto (Carlink) and I fear it will loose that licence code, and I don't have it noted anywhere...

Hello. Sometimes i connect my phone via bluetooth to listen to music but i cant control the volume by the phone. Any advices?

What size USB stick did you use was it 4GB or 8GB? and was it USB 3.0? (They are usually blue on the connector side.) A friend is having issues with the stereo to recognize the usb stick.

Just a usb 2.0 8gb stick I had floating around the house, so nothing special

@Ricks Tech a little question. I have missed the display colors. The butoms in the left, the house, back arrow, vol + & -.... in the another firm those icons it had backligth in a lot of colours. Now nothing, ligths are off. Do you solvent this?? Thanks

dont have a solution. maybe look in the carinfotament settings menu (code 8878 should work) And see if you can tweak it

i mainly use the bluetooth function and reverse camera aspect, but when i was using i did find it a little underpowered for google maps and what not. i will need to do a follow up video Radio functions fine in oz

Okay so my apparently Junsun V1C (I'm not entirely sure which version it is) came with this software already on it. Good to know they update it from the factory. How did you get another homescreen layout? I've checked the app with the t-shirt icon but they're just different colour variations for me. It's an okay screen, escpecially since my Accord's stock radio is as basic as possible. But my screen quality looks kinda janky and it really lacks customizability in general. Also, any good navigation apps you recommend? I don't mind paying a one time-fee but subcription based use or janky apps in general are a no go.

@@rickstechrepairs I went for the Microsoft Launcher as that was the one I was pleased with the most. I also swapped out my apparently V1 for a V1 pro which I've gotten directly from Junsun instead of the overpriced V1 I bought locally. Note to self: Always do research before buying. It's a lovely screen that looks and definetely works much better.

works for v1 non pro 2+32gb? i try to speak with junsun but its impossible... i dont understand chinesse and junsun dont understand english...... they said "enter in themes, press and hol de download button on the up right corner" but only appear a scrren with Qr code.... nothing o ui 3.0 update.

Those light up when your canbus tells the radio you have your headlights on. Some apps like Google Maps then also switch to Dark Mode.

Hey Bro, i Hope i can Help me :) I bought a car radio for VW Golf 6 in April last year. Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore. I start the radio, then it loads up to the VW logo. After a few seconds, the radio restarts with white lighting on the buttons, then they turn red again and the VW logo appears. Then everything from scratch again. I hope you can help me. Thank you!

H! I have a Junsun very similar to this, but Is installed in a Peugeot 307 that was having GPS system from Peugeot. Now, Everything woks except Car settings (Like Lock doors and AC Settings). Do you have any idea how to solve it??

Hey - question regarding this unit - I've had it for ~3 days and my car battery suddenly died. Did you encounter it darining your car battery? Is there a way to properly shut the unit down, as I've found that it constantly stays on, even when the car's been turned off. Thanks for the info re: FW upgrade, I'll be sure to do so as well!

Check you wiring, when the screen is off in sleep mode it should use very little power

You have to cut one cable. I had the same problem several years ago with a new radio. Contact your seller, they problaby know which cable you need to cut.

You can't do that. A Russian has managed it, but as far as I understand it is not possible to do without professional knowledge.

I find you might need to manually restart the headunit, as it only goes in to sleep but never has a fresh restart i have my reverse camera cut out on me and need to disconnect the car battery to make the headunit do a fresh restart

The light up buttons are linked to the illumination wring, They should turn on when you turn your headlights on

i do, it keeps reverting back an hour.. Set time Drive for a bit, turn off car, restart the car and it has reverted back an hour

Hi. I have the same junsun v1 pro for a differente vehicle. I tried to upload several times with different pendrives but the results were always the same: Detected... but failed with the procedure. A message is send to me saying that I have to check usb devie or files. I talked with the seller but I don't have yet a solution. Do you have any idea for me to solve my problem?

As already someone said. It must be in fat32 and mbr. Make sure you don’t have any hidden partitions.

@@rickstechrepairs it came with my radio. But after all it was my mistake. I had my iphone cable on the wrong usb. Use the usb1 port for the upgrade and the iphone cable must be also on usb1. Problem solved. :)
