Hello Old Mr B. The first time she cropped up on my radar was awhile ago now on my youtube feed where someone referred to her as ' The female Keith Moon' . You are right about her being a whacker but, like you, I have always been impressed with her accuracy at hitting the drums because it's true that as you say it's only natural that you should catch the rims occasionally but she never seems to. I see that someone has given you a link to one of the Girls Rock Band. I hope it's one of the OK Rock covers that they do like a song called Dreamer. They are now called Trident with a new drummer I do believe you reacted to that video. But do check out the link that was sent to you all the same. You mentioned another drummer who is more into Jazz. There are a few of those about, not sure who you have been recommended but I know of two. Senri Kawaguchi and Kanade Sato. Seri is in her early twenties while Kanade Sato is seventeen. But there are clips to be found on youtube of both these young ladies from about the age of 5 & 6 years old. By the way if you ever get an hour to catch you breath put you're feet up with a couple of beers and search for Dextrose one-man live it's a one hour and twenty minutes concert by the band. You will get to see a lot of Haruna in the bargain. Keep up the good work mate.

Thank you I will get round too doing them but at the moment i am inundated with requests. and I have had a quick look at Senri Kawaguchi and Kanade Sato so if you can jus bear we me we will get their and thank you for this info and did you mean DESTROSE I have do a reaction too them Maze is the song and Haruna is on the drums I put it up 2 weeks ago And by the way I don't so it would be a coffee and fee up lol!!!

@@OldMrB Yes that's correct Dextrose. You reacted to the video. But the concert is from 2013 it was probably released as a DVD in Japan at the time. There is a nice bass part on one of the songs about 50 minutes in and some moments from Haruna. It's surprising how a alot of the female bands in Japan love the harmony guitar thing and these two guitarist are good musicians. I think that with Lovebites they have made it into something of their own and it has now become a part of their sound and style. I can understand how you must be inundated with requests and links from people out there in KZread world. So I know it will take some time to get around to everybody's recommendations. I often hear you asked for info on bands and if I have any knowledge on the subject I will always share it on your channel. You must get through a few cups of coffee watching all these videos but you seem to be enjoying yourself. I look forward to watching more reactions.

Although there's no word on whether or not it might become permanent, I have it on pretty good inside authority that Junna will be playing at least two shows around the turn of the year with Mitsurun's (ex-Bridear shredder) project Mada Mitakoto No Nai Sekai ("Madaseka"). @@OldMrB I just realized that you reacted to Trident a month ago. I believe (but I haven't done any research) that the song you reacted to was the first song the band came out with after Junna left it. Also, can I put in a Junna request? I don't believe you've reacted to this yet. Very few reactors have reacted to this song (likely because of the title) but I think it's her best and most fun to listen to work. It's called ルマ (RUMA) / 莉犬くん (RIINU KUN). And it's supposed to be a drum cover. But the original song doesn't have real drums in it. They're electronic and don't sound really anything like what she's playing. I think she made the drum part up. Here's the link: kzread.info/dash/bejne/anetl9OriduepcY.html My favorite part is when she does a damn windmill to hit the Chinese crash at 2:28. It's insane. It really starts at 2:26 when she hits the regular crash cymbal twice while looking at it like she's going to assassinate it. Then three big hits to the snare/Chinese crash and then the windmill to China crash, then the snare hits into the double bass drum. It's just so satisfying. The whole section from 2:22 - 2:34 is just brilliant. Even if you don't react to it, watch it. It's something.

Nooooo... She's pretending too much. She's good, no doubt, but as you've said, she's a wacker. Instead of concentrating on drumming, she concentrates on the visuals. If I close my eyes, then her drumming sounds a bit strange. Not bad, but... strange. She simply wastes a lot of energy on a show, instead of saving as much energy as possible in order to be effective. It's actually quite difficult to be a good drummer. There must be a balance, and also the understanding that drumming is part of the music, not just the show of skills. That's why Akane avoids prolonged solos-she is always very emphatic about the fact that she supports the band, accentuates the instruments and vocals, and wants to be closer to the other members. Of course, the fans want to see her doing more solos, but she holds the same beliefs as Kanami-"Don't be long." Solos are nice, but they should not break the flow of music. Sorry for being rather negative about it, but that's how I feel about it. JUNNA was actually playing in a band, KAKUMEI. kzread.info/dash/bejne/eX2mj5WKoJSwkqQ.html But then either she herself decided to leave it, or was fired, I don't know. I may cauciously suggest that she's simply not the type of a musician who can be good in a band. It must be extremely difficult to do music on stage next to a drummer like her.

@@OldMrB Her "windmilling" is quite entertaining, no doubt. But I personally more of an "audio" type of a person, I care more about the sound than the visuals. And JUNNA sacrifices sound for the sake of waving her hands all around 🤸‍♀️ 🤷‍♂️ I watched a few of the videos on her channel, and I should say that probably the best thing she did was the drum cover of Rainbow's Difficult to Cure. That's where her overpowering style was right on point. It's interesting, though, that the band was normally banished from stage during this number 🤐 You can see it in that video clip, it's a combination of her studio performance and the bits and pieces from the on-stage camera. If you allow me some digression, I would like to add that it reminds me of another band which causes a lot of controversies. I mean Babymetal. I don't really dig them, because they are all about the visuals. Well, to a large degree. Their music has some interesting moments, no doubt, but it's too eclectic, at least for my taste. Take away the show, and Babymetal will mostly lose its appeal. And of course, it naturally leads me to BAND-MAID 😋 These girls can well dispense with any visuals, they will not suffer any damage in this case. For example, I have extracted the audio track from the last ONLINE OKYU-JI, split it into separate songs, and now listen to this live concert while doing some job. And I thoroughly enjoy it! It was a great concert, and this "live CD" is a viable live album. It is really interesting to listen to. Many parts are re-arranged and played differently, it's not a copy of the studio versions or the older live versions.
