JUNKYARD FIND 1969 GTO Judge?!? Yes really!
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
This Muscle Car Junkyard is hidden away in Michigan. The owner saved all these cars from being crushed over the years, and put them in a safe spot so nobody would do anything to them. Many are barn finds, or from other yards, or just sitting abandoned on the street. They had a little bit of everything in this yard.
Back 10 years ago this was the first car I did a video on. It wasn't the first one released because I messed it up big time. But this is the one that started it all. A 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge sitting in a junkyard. THE JUDGE. How much crazier does that get?

Thanks to this video, I would bet that someone will buy the car and restore it. You cannot let this Judge go away...it needs to be restored.
If you want to restore a car bad enough. You can save one, even out of a scrap yard.. The video went dark at the end. Could not see a thing. Thanks for sharing. 💯👊👍
Jackpot ! This is how we found my 69 SS Chevelle l78. Sometimes you can find something that can be restored ! Always be on the lookout !
Awesome judge
That Judge Needs To Be Saved! Great Video Thanks!
Yeah there are more than a few cars that are something... great yard crawl and thank 🔧🔧👍
Correct, 1969 is code 72 Carousel Red. My 1980 Trans Am the same color name, but code 79. It was also used in 1976 in the Pontiac line, and it was code 78 that year. No VIN, can't win, but the GTO would be something like: 2 for Pontiac, 42 for GTO, 37 for two door, 9 for 1969 model year, then maybe P for Pontiac, MI assembly (among other choices) and the rest is the production sequence. The Pontiac MI assembly plant closed in 1988.
Always look forward to your videos. Appreciate your hard work, I don't see anyone as thorough as you.

I appreciate that!
Is he trying to sell it or restore it (the Judge)?
It's amazing to me that once, no one would really have cared about some of these vehicles. Today, folks are debating how to get them home & restore them! That 442 & early Camaros looked save able!
Named after skit. That. Was done on Rowan and Martin's. Lauigh in early 1969. Sammy Davis.>HERE COME DA. JUDGE...
wow! Get that Judge into restoration!
Are any of the cars for sale/titled?
Very cool!
I'll be the judge of that. 🤣 Seriously what an excellent find. It don't matter how much is there you need a little something to start with to build it. I saw some other interesting 🤔 ones also
Have a 70 442 body like that
Guess I am old enough to remember GTOs were not that fast. Kind of like for guys on the gulf team:)

There is a lot of people that collect cars wrecked, some times not and they've sat in the open atmosphere degrading to the point that you'd have to replace everything but vin numbers and body tag, people actually do that too... Maybe not that one, but eventually...
Is any of these cars for sale and where are they
I see some parts I maybe able to use for my 1971 Pontiac Lemans GT-37.
Great to see that the cars were saved But who’s going to restore them the judge parts are dear

Actually, you might be surprised at how few Judge specific parts there were in 69 compared to say 71. Same basics of restoration apply, correct application & date range. With GTOs, there's a broad parts source, even used.
Very cool, though a very rough candidate. Notice it was a fixed headlight car. By the look of it, THAT had to hurt! I don't think you caught the two tone paint on the bottom GTO, which was a pretty rare option as well(no, it wasn't a vinyl roof).

Yeah, it was a hard hit.
Yeee Yeee!
How can these cars. Be so abused over the years??
@jamesthompson8008

Well, look at what's happening to all the Hellcat Chargers/Challengers now....same thing, just different era. Plus, back then, 99% of those musclecars also had to be daily drivers, too...today, there's more economic freedom to purchase & put away.
Good afternoon. Is this gto judge for sale?

It was not
That RS is a 68.
green rs camaro is a 68
this car was rescued, to prevent it from being crushed ..... so we decided that mother nature was going to ruin it slowly ?? ... GOOD PLAN !!

Better than the alternative.
Was the 67 Camaro worth saving?

@AutoArchaeology With today's aftermarket support, it would CERTAINLY be an easier resto than that Judge!! READY for the next one!

Oh absolutely
they don't look rescued to me
Why do people save cars in their yard to just let them rot away and end up throwing them into the crusher
@richardwarfordjr.5622

Because they can
Does the wang that owns this yard want to sell that Judge or what? I'll take it on...if this is one of those guys that's not selling anything than that's ridiculous. Shit should have been sold years ago. All he did was make it more work for someone who saves it..what's the deal Indiana?

No, not at this time.
