JUNK MADE VALUABLE.. - Honda CR500 1987

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

#Honda CR500 #1987 Honda CR500
This week features the relentless detail in sourcing parts for the Honda CR500r.
So another worthwhile project hits the screen. No less the beast, a 'Man bike', Cancelled in the name of safety, What ever you want to call it. This is the last un-restricted crazy idea from Honda to produce a bike you simply can't use to it's full potential. Dull 4 stroke restricted racing still sees the CR500 2 stroke competing and winning in many unrestricted races after 30+ years of so-called- development. I want one. I want it in a glass case just to know I have something that belongs to another age.
Lets see if it is up to the hype..

You can get some of those plastic parts printed and save a fortune. They seem simple enough to copy on the cad. Todays printed plastics are super durable. Just a tip!

I just found your videos, they are extremely good! They are a great incentive for me to get started on my latest project. A ‘66 T120 TT, hasn’t run since the ‘70s. I’ve done a handful of old bikes including a CR500R, had to sell it, it was gonna kill somebody……. Keep up the good work! Again, great job!

Really enjoying this series! I picked up an 87 Cr500 last year and I learned very quickly how hard it is to find parts. I’m nearly halfway done with my rebuild but I’m certainly not going to this level of detail and originally you’re doing.
