I was going to say I hate summer colds they are the worst, but yes then I remembered you aren’t in summer … any colds are not fun but generally expected in the winter… I do hope you feel better. My little grands always seem to have sniffles all year round… poor kiddos. I love your journal with me videos they are so inspiring. I always love your pages because you find such cheerful things to fill them with. I envy your artistic abilities as well. We were talking on the phone to a friend of ours who lives near Sydney and he was saying how particularly cold this winter has been there. Keep warm and get better! 💛

I can imagine it’s far easier to get into a seasonal slump in Australia. On the other side of the world, when the days are getting colder, we have lots of things to look forward to: Halloween, Christmas, or other party days, and it’s definitely for me one of the more exciting times of the year, but there in Australia I can imagine it might feel quite miserable and moody during the colder months.

Even if we just got snow where we live in winter haha! The kids would love that! But it’s okay, you can’t have it all 😄 i live in a beautiful coastal town and it’s still warm/hot most days when you sit in the sun in winter, we are quite lucky for that

I think one of the biggest things in winter for me is the dark. I leave the house in the dark for work and come back home in the dark because it's already dark by 5pm and not properly bright until like 9. That makes the day so short. Plus, where I live we have 4 months without the sun reaching us and we're in shadow for 4 months. It definitely affects my seasonal depression
