Dan Auerbach is a huge fan, and credits Junior with being his largest influence.

I’ve been listening to to the blues for 40 years…this man is the definition of BLUES…

He reminds me of my dad, and his song Most Things Haven't Worked Out reminds me of myself.

For me it's that slow hypnotic grove its head banging but as if you took a couple of downers... And now that I'm older I can really relate to the lyrics! 😎💯

Can i just say, he might be the best man, and being alive is topsy turvey, god bless him.

Just found this music upload..what a beautiful traditional blues sound..its getting harder and harder to find... But then again I'm not in the home of the Delta. ..if the blues in ya..yous gotta let it out

You can se what music can make Im a serb born in vienna 81, it was hard to find music from usa without internet but i find it. I think black music from us are the best music that exisist. Blues are the best I dont listen to austrian or serbian music, only black pepole music can make this. You dont need alkohol dont need your language RESPEKT

@@j.t.3798 considering that the black keys have not only credited Junior for every single song they have performed by him, but Dan also cited Junior as the direct reason he dropped out of college to pursue a musical career and therefore brought Junior to audiences that never would have previously heard of him, maybe you should shut up cause you don't at all know what you're talking about. Performing someone else's music is not theft unless the artist goes uncredited. Why don't you check out Chulahoma. It is a complete tribute album to him by them. Idiot.

Spending time in Mississippi, lots of fans and locals were off-put by the marketing of this record. Many reported they always saw him well dressed and well kempt, but the Fat Possum marketing shows him as downtrodden and what mostly white fans expect of the blues. Very strange, but a good glimpse into record execs, even the smaller ones that should have some integrity.

you know i recall one trip to the record store with mr kimbourgh .. and he says ...as we skim thru the cd within their plastic anti teft thangs. he says u know looking at sales numbers only certain records sell. i was like watcha mean bro? ...well look at the pictures ... ...mhmm right.... he goes on ... well this one here he points st the black n white ones only sold so much . this here in the gold suburban suv only so much ... and the one that wuss gaye dude told me to take all fancy like didnt sell hardly any at all. i was like so whats your point mr Kimbrough ? he's like point son is that (he akmost raises his voice and the clerks are like shhhhhh! ... he lowers his voice my point is that only the ones you helped me take sold the most! i was like really!!! ( i had a huge smile on my face. ) he raises his voice again a bit. ya damn right my son! i give him a huge smile and hug him. like for a good minute. someone says .. i think one of the clerks or stupid fukks in their are all like ewww pervert! ...watcha say biatch! like borh of did instantly! then he is like i'ma take this copy of my own music fir y'alls disrespect! shes ima call the police .. lol go rught ahead biatch cus yous gomna feel mighty stupid when u find out its really me! cops get there and try to arrest him. and the cop days well i believe u and i'll let u go .. jr drops like 3 or 4 dollars snd i drop sum pennies and dimes and such .. the manager ...i think picks it up or makes that dat girl pick it up. the cop i think letts him go free... lol mr kimbrough walks away all proud like in his trench coat and does his best pimp walk. i go the other way to stay out the rain. then i go back and i tell rhe manager ya know what i want the money back for tryin to have my bro arrested! the guy is like yes sir here u go. gives me 5 dollars back and turn to his side and tells that girl Youre Fired!! i was like oohh sshhiii- that girl throws a fit right den and there! LOL!
