I can understand why Jun dropped out of that program. When his friend Yanan left (due to health issues), he would’ve been paired with someone new or had to perform solo, which he didn’t want to do. Of course Minghao felt bad though
2:43 context: basically minghaos team and the other team (wearing black) were facing elimination and the judges were about to announce the results but before the judges could announce who was going to be eliminated junhui suddenly interrupted the stage (note that jun's team actually got number 1 and were definitely safe). so junhuis partner, yanan, is actually in the hospital due to health reasons so jun basically gives up his #1 (he becomes the show's mc) so that minghaos team and the other team both don't get eliminated.

The first time Jun met Hao, he thought he was his friend, he has the same name as Minghao. Minghao wear a cap back then and Jun just pull it off, talk to Minghao like he knew him already but turns out its not the same Minghao, Jun used braces as well that time, so he spit alot when he talk to Minghao.

Maybe bc Minghao can now talk Korean? Bc when he was first in Seventeen, he couldn't talk Korean and he and Jun are chinese andd Jun was the only person Minghao was able to talk to at the time until he learnt it better.
