I literally have to wait 1 or 2 days AFTER the live in order to watch it with subs😭 And my adhd doesn't allow me to stay immersed unless I understand what they're talking about Like, I know I said Weverse should have subtitles (Said this around the time it merged with VLive and didn't have the subs feature yet) but I also meant I wanted to be able to USE the subs like on VLive😭

I’m pretty such that subtitles are only add after the live is done not during it. Plus it takes a while until the subtitles are added. I have the membership because of their presale for their concert and honestly y’all are not missing much. The behind the scenes is probably the only thing you are messing but you can always go on KZread and find it on somebody else’s channel. They post them right after Belift posts Enhypen’s. Because the membership is only 20$ a year which has last a long time for me because honestly the members don’t even use it. This is my first time with the membership and I’m a student as well. Now that DM thing they are putting is going to empty my wallet😂😂

Weverse has always been about interacting with fans bighit/hybe wanted a platform where their artists can interact with fans just like fancafe. Since enhypen is under hybe they used that same platform for voting purposes for I-land. And now that cjenm handed vlive to hybe they can now use vlive features and transfer it to weverse and they are also adding non hybe artists in the platform.

I noticed that Sunoo only responds to posts of Engenes with membership. I tried signing up for membership since I paid for ARMY membership before and it does have some perks - the best one being able to purchase concert ticket ahead of scheduled public purchase. Enhypen concert ticket probably function the same way and the members are not even aware of it. There’s also items only paid members can purchase. He is right of Weverse being capitalists tho 😅

I got the membership for the presale for their concert. I didn’t realize that Sunoo only responds to posts that have membership. I’m just happy it’s not something I have to pay every month for. 20 dollars a year isn’t bad and I’m a freshman highschool student with no job

That’s actually discriminatory and outrageous. People struggling to understand others, like deaf people, NEED subtitles. The fact that subtitles is a MUST for people with disabilities proves how greedy Weverse is.

Aside from the financial aspect of this, I also find this new feature a bit concerning for the artist involved. We are all aware that there are some instances that some have been disrespectful and even delusional when relating with their favorite artist. I am afraid that the line might become more and more blurry. I hope there are certain rules and standards kept in place to protect artists from uncomfortable and negative experiences.
