I read that JK is the second artist to ever perform on this stage. I love this performance mostly because how happy JK looks interacting with Army. That’s the great thing about him, and all the guys, he didn’t have to enlist, he had several years till it was mandatory, but to be all together for his brothers and Army he made the choice to join early💜

There's an army on X who actually live at one of the buildings top floors at times square & she posted videos of crowd waiting in morning (armys reach there as early as 10am with just self speculations & instincts, no actual announcement), JK Ck ad playing (on same billboard whose pop-up stage is where this happened) & then him performing in evening, all recorded from her bedroom view lol (how lucky of her, she's also got Jhope mini sling bag which was also official merch of LY by jhope himself back in 2018 LY concert at New york when she was at front row w/ tears in eyes & jhope came near barricade)

There is a behind the scenes for this one; you should watch that too. Just FYI - there was a helicopter traffic person on a NY tv station that was complaining about some artist from Korea shutting down Times Square at rush hour on a Friday evening. lol I kind of left a not-so-nice comment for her because of the way she said the comment. I think that was the reason he left quickly - they probably were told "You have 20 minutes then shut it down!" (or something like that). That was a impromptu concert. ARMY didn't really know where it was going to be (but the sleuths among us figured it out). Also, there was only 24 hours notice that Something was going to happen the following day, but that's all we got. I live in Pennsylvania (south of New York by about 8 hours driving or so. There is no way I could have gotten there in time. So, it's not really us Lucky ARMY in the U.S. because the U.S. is vast. lol We need more notice. :) I Loved the performance though. Oh, and yeah, it was Free of course - just show up if you can on the street. There are fan cams showing what it looked like from the street. Imagine a hole in the wall of a building however many stories up that was, but the hole is in the middle of a giant billboard that is at first just a poster, then the countdown, then the performance airing on the billboard. Incredible how far technology has come. Not sure if you noticed, but JK was wearing Calvin Klein and CK was one of the sponsors for this mini concert.

27:26 this is one reason why I love you shiki… you’re as obsessed with the little adlibs and Harmonies jungkook does live and how he changes it up all the time so it always seems fresh and new. You’re like the first reactor I’ve seen notice that he changed that and added a note drop down here… it’s so small but so satisfying. I’m also always so impressed with how clear his voice is… so pure… literally the studio version sounds the same but he sounds SO much better live. The little textures in his live voice and how he enunciates are so satisfying to listen to…. You describe it like that and it’s the only way I can think to describe it too lol one thing ppl don’t even realize is ya know it’s one thing to record all these songs in perfect English… but to sing them all live with practically no hint that he’s not a native English speaker…is so impressive… but also he literally spoke English for the wntire time and other than like when he said “Times Square,” his English sounded so natural … all him speaking with army… his English was so good and I was so proud of him… he’s come so far from that little boy who loved pop music, singing , dancing , English and performing… holding his own on epic stages making history w every step he takes… I’m so proud to know him.. who he is.. such a bright light in what feels like a dark world sometimes. Anyway it was so nice watching with you !!! Wish you nothing but the best for you! You’re awesome my dude!!!

Shiki, Christmas is over…. I said it so often, JK is extremely good when he is singing and performing Live. And yes, I was a bit jealous not to be there. ARMY knew that sth great will happen from the time table and some rumours, JK was the second artist after Post Malone! I read after the gig, that a lot of people who were there for shopping and didn’t know about it were soooo excited even they didn’t know him before!

22:52 i wanted you to see golden love on stage bc he does choreo to please don’t change!!! It’s so perfect and so cute and fun !!! He knows exactly what dances to pick for his songs… he visualized all these stages and performances for so long… I love seeing him do it!!! He wanted to perform as many stages as he possibly could before he left and they were all amazing… but that concert and special time is so special and all the extra stuff he did will melt you … I miss him so much… miss all of them so much!!! You always love the parts I do… his adlib here was perfection… he did this adlib kinda harmony part in “hate you” the gave goosebumps to my goosebumps…. You will love it!

Alot of armies actually just go there cuz they assumed theres something going on including jk cuz of the ad on the screen and they was preparing the stage so it was already almost packed but the actual announcement about the show was 30min before the show🤣🤣🤣 And the fact that armies was already memorized all the lyrics and it's just a couple days after the album dropped and they was ready to sing any time he give them the mic😖😖💜💜💜
