June Walk: Boston Public Garden, The Embrace, & 2023 Pictures of the Year

Join me for an early June stroll through Boston's beautiful Public Garden and historic Boston Common. Our walk begins in the Public Garden, where we admire the vibrant flowers in full bloom and watch the iconic swan boats glide across the lagoon.
As we move into Boston Common, we encounter a lively mix of tourists, locals walking their dogs, and families enjoying the carousel. We also take time to visit "The Embrace," a powerful monument honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King. This 20-foot-tall bronze sculpture, inspired by a photograph of the Kings embracing, was installed in 2022 and symbolizes love, unity, and the ongoing fight for social justice.
Along our walk, we explore the Boston 2023 Pictures of the Year display, showcasing stunning photography that captures the essence of the city throughout the past year. Our journey concludes at the historic Brewer Fountain, near the Massachusetts State House and the Park Street Church, offering a peaceful end to our urban adventure.
