I like and always waiting your updates. You are a good filmmaker, a mixture of honesty and realism - at the same time, however such quality that I am jealous of what you achieve. There are, of course ways to transfer the base image of the painting faster (like a projector), but doing it slowly has its own charm and it's liberating to see the process.

Thank you for another cozy vlog! I'm really sorry to know that you are still suffering symptoms from that virus. Wishing you a speedy recovery on that end. I can relate to what you said about relinquishing control in order to let spontaneity make its appearance. I've been drawing a lot in my sketchbook while sitting down precisely because of the control it affords me, and I'm quite happy with the results. Nevertheless, I've given myself the goal for this Summer to draw more on my easel while standing up in order to let go of some of that control and see where it leads. I find I'm liking those results as well. They are more in line with what I aspire my work to look like down the road. Hope you feel better.

I love what you said at the end of your video about both the best and worst things are unplanned and that if we try to control things too much, we might miss the best things. May you find the balance. Ps. I love your garden so much! At the moment we only have a little balcony garden, which is more than some can say...but I would love to just lie on a blanket on the grass if I had a garden like you😅

Watching you convert all the measurements by hand is so painful to watch haha. If you have access to photoshop or affinity or something of the like you can show rulers, size the image to the size of the canvas, and then just move your curser to a point and read off the measurement right there on the screen. I've laid my studio out with that in mind and it makes plotting out paintings like this so so so much less of a headache! Hope that helps!
