June Sarpong Uncovers the EASTERN PART OF GHANA's Hidden Secrets - First Time Visit!

Join the network for a smooth transition to GHANA www.gubadiasporanetwork.com
In this video, Dentaa takes acclaimed Broadcaster June Sarpong to experience Easter in the beautiful Kwahu Mountains in Ghana!
June will be exploring the Stone Age park and will also be taking part in a paragliding expedition. Don't miss this exciting video as we travel to Ghana to celebrate Easter with June Sarpong!
June Sarpong OBE is an internationally renowned broadcaster, writer, and campaigner on diversity issues. She started her career as a DJ and presenter on MTV, Kiss FM, and for ten years on Channel 4's T4 youth strand. She has gone on to appear as a panelist on ITV's Loose Women and now on Sky News' The Pledge.
Since 2010, she has built a reputation as a leading campaigner on a wide range of diversity and inclusion issues. She is a passionate advocate for change in the workplace and a champion for greater representation throughout the media. She has written two books on diversity issues - Diversify (2017) and The Power of Women (2018) - and co-founded the Women - Inspiration and Enterprise (WIE) Alliance in 2010, an international conference supporting female excellence and empowerment. She also co-founded the Decide Act Now (DNA) summit, promoting discussion and innovation.
Kwahu Easter is the yearly Easter celebration in Ghana's Eastern Region's Kwahu South District. Every Easter, people of all ages and nationalities flock to the Kwahu Hills to enjoy the three-day celebration. Paragliding, hiking, carnivals, and traffic jams are just some of the activities available. It's an annual homecoming for indigenes or Kwahu people, but it's also a reason to celebrate holiday revelers. A variety of performers will also be performing. Tourists visit Kwahu Easter because of its inherent or demonstrated cultural worth, historical significance, natural or manmade beauty, or amusement opportunities.

Fantastic interview with a very beautiful, talented, sassy and gifted Asante woman who has been an inspiration to many young especially dark skinned Afrikan women. In an industry that is notoriously anti-Black, ye nua June has shown that if you have the talent, which she obviously has, and the perseverance and discipline, you can go a long way!!. Mo wa y'adi3, nyame nyhira wo!!
