I also really enjoyed Brotherless Night. I’m curious about Eve after hearing you talking about it. It’s been so long since I have read a fantasy series and maybe I should pick one up. The audio of The House on the Cerulean Sea was delightful. You are so right that it was on the nose - that part made me think it was a much younger audience than I expected. And yes- Orwell was a pig. I also was challenged by the more imaginative parts of the book.
