I love the water dancer. The author, I believe wrote the script for Black panther for Disney. I have followed some of his interviews and his social commentaries are deep. First Lie Wins has 528 people for the audio and 757 people waiting for the ebook on my libby app. That alone had me very intrigued 🤨, so I used an audible credit, and I was disappointed friend. 3 starts and I want my 9 hours and 16 minutes back! 😭 Dear God, whatever you are doing for Ashley Elston I'm ready for you to do for me and Kayla☺

I have wanted to read something by Jesmyn Ward but a lot of people say her books will make you cry 😅 How did you like Lone Woman? Victor Lavelle has a very interesting writing style. I find people either really vibe with his weirdness or they don’t 🤭

@@KaylasBookishVibes Yes, you have heard correctly about Jesmyn's books. Let Us Descend broke my heart many times. It is historical fiction and I enjoy that genre the most. Additionally, I felt like I was right there as I read the book. I love feeling like I'm fully immersed in a story. I enjoyed Lone Women, it was different and I appreciate when I read something I can't really predict, especially after all the books I have read in my lifetime. 😆

📖📖 I read Heaven and Earth Groceey store. I really liked it. Also have read the Women in the last few weeks. Have you read anything by Charlie Donlea? Would love to hear your thoughts on him.
