Beach Read 😍😍😍🙌🙌🙌 Totally agree about The Seven Year Slip, definitely a unique take on the romcom and I just loved Iwan ❤️❤️❤️ And yessss about the trials in Powerless, I don’t understand at all why the king would want to kill the Elites!! Does not make sense at all 😂 Also love your thumbnail!!

Awwwh yay so glad you enjoyed beach read! It’s the only Emily Henry book I’ve read but really enjoyed it! I can’t wait to start the seven year slip, idk why it’s taking me so long 🙈 oh no!!! I’m hearing more and more people say similar things about powerless, it’s making me nervous 😂

9:45 I died 😂😂😂 but this makes me so excited to start beach read this month!! And excited to buddy read lost and lassoed with you!! Looks like such a good reading month, I love your wrap ups 😍 the way you described powerless definitely made me think of hunger games and the serpent and the wings of night.

I was struggling with this video, not going to lie. I filmed the whole thing the first time without even hitting record so the second time was just word vomit! 😂

Beach Read was near the end of May read for me! I really enjoyed the character depiction of their life and struggles they went through. I found the romance to weak but still thoroughly enjoyed it! I gave it 4 ⭐ The Done & Dusted is on my TBR to dabble into cowboy romance 😂 I'm scared because I don't think that I'll like the cowboy settings. I don't I've said said this previously but the way you describe the book + your opinions about the book is so well done! I feel like I always have a problem with word vomiting and unfiltered stream of consciousness 🤣

Yay! I love that we read Beach Read together, but separately. It was such a good one! Noooo don't be scared! I was nervous too but I was pleasantly surprised. It really wasn't too cowboy-y! I think you should try it!! Mimi, this is SO sweet. Honestly I've been a little self-conscious about how I "rant" and speak and always wonder if my explanations are helpful without giving too much of the plot away. I think you're doing such a good job too!

I'm always so happy when I find people who read something around the time I had because it feels like a mini book club and I get to hear about your thoughts 🥹 I most definitely will be giving it a try -- it's been added to my TBR 😂a matter of time as to when I'll get to it. AHH Thank you. And we're always are harshest critics. I really enjoy watching your videos, and like I said, it makes it so much easier to digest and understand! I can have a good idea of what I'd like about the book from your explanation 🥹💕
