I don't like that the ink jet runs the color, but the cost of the laserjet cartridges is ridiculous. I had a laserjet and barely used it. When i needed a new printer, I got an ecotank inkjet and am thrilled. I am using it for so much more art. There are a few things I can't do, but I really don't miss them. Thank you for the kit. It looks gorgeous.

I am so glad you like the kit and thank you for playing along. Yes the LaserJet cartridges and the printers themselves are ridiculous and that’s why I refuse to buy one. I guess I could go to Staples or somewhere else to get some prints done if I really need them, but I’m fine with a little runny ink here and there it just adds to the aesthetic. 😊
hahaha! Would you believe that this is one of the few times in my life that I don't have an amazon box on hand? The recycling has *just* picked up! No... do not order from Amazon just to get another box... BAD IDEA! There's probably a cereal box or two that can be dug up for the purpose.

I've never used Gesso. Does it come in all those colors or do you mix something with the white to get the color?

The gesso I have is black, white and clear. The rest is regular acrylic paint.
