A line of thunderstorms developed along a boundary across the MA/CT border early evening and moved towards Boston. Then, a powerful squall line swept through CT and southern MA late evening with continuous lightning and damaging winds. Numerous power flashes were seen as the line approached Windsor Locks, CT.

I had a feeling we might be in for a good show after we watched that initial cell fire up on our way to Bradley. That had a really nice looking structure. Crazy we caught the duo lightning strikes too! Even those cells firing to the north and west along the boundary had some nice looking structures. That main show though...insane with the constant lightning and numerous power flashes. Glad we made the decision to do this!

Well, awesome storm here, just clicked on the video so I can’t wait to watch this! I watched the four minute clip you uploaded. I’m assuming this is the same storm. I’ve got a bunch of nighttime videos from Tuesday night to upload, and storm chances for me nearly every night now for the next week or so, loving this season!

AWESOME...AWESOME...just like my own WEDS 6/26/02-strobelight Tstorm videos..from exactly 22 years to the very same day((ALSO on KZread)))......! Amazing lightning-filled shelf cloud and the multiple power flashes seen...Nice shots of landing jetliners too near Bradley Intl airport.......anyways..the SAME HUGE SQUALL LINE..moving from WSW to ENE that you both wonderfully got....really did weaken, big time..before reaching my area by 1045pm...((even a lot less ''lightning static'' heard off my AM-radio too))).....hence whatever lightning that I got was only distant to the NW and n.and not even KZread-worthy for me...but but..NEW Tstorm chances by early SUN 6/30/24....for all areas...stay tuned... Many KUDOs that you BOTH ...got together for the awesomed videoing HILT shown here....

Yeah it was an amazing Tstorm, incredible lightning and so many power flashes. We've never seen so many! Indeed 22 years since the big Tstorms of 6/26/02. Haven't seen lightning this frequent in a long time, much like the Tstorms I got overnight 6/26-27/02.
