Eric, Im in SE Iowa just east of Ottumwa. Ive had just .34 since May 26th. Just .22 in June. Horribly dry and some crops suffering. I dont see this "drier but not dry" in my area! Getting serious

At the risk of seeming to be in agreement with notable cuckoo clock Paul Beckwith, heat signatures in the Atlantic are looking consistent with recent anomalies portraying a weakening AMOC. Note also the powerful cold currents working through the Bering Strait. Either/both of these provide ample support for a continuance of the 500 jet right where it sits, at least until later in the polar thaw season, as ice out on the Russian side produces changes in the overall pattern. If a central Omega builds this summer, that would be when it appears- mid July(?)ish.

Snowball fight in June! Cool over here in ND with a frost risk but thankfully no snow. What elevation are you at to get snow? Cows are loving the green grass over this way.

😂😂 Well, @ihcman9130 we passed on snowball fights because we were stuck in deep MUD up here. Our cattle are finally getting some pasture grass now. We’re at about 6300 ft up here but we’ve seen snow every single month of the year up here. Makes for a LOT of hay needed to keep animals going up here. Glad you’ve got some good pasture for your herd. That is always just the best feeling when they all get to be out on good pastures! 🤠💯❤️👍🏻

The Mississippi shouldn't be much of a concern with all the rain in the headwaters.
