I read a lot. I'm tackling a massive 32 book series by Rita Mae Brown and her cat Sneaky Pie Brown called the Mrs. Murphy Mysteries. They're based out of Crozet Virginia. They're fun "who done it" books. The first book started in 1992, and she just recently released one this year. I also sneak other reads in while I wait on the series books to come in. I'm currently reading one filler series now by Nancy Mehl called the Ryland/St. Claire series. They, too, are "who done it" books. Ryland and St. Claire are ex-FBI profiler turned private investigators. There is a lot of suspense and a bit of faith. I think you need faith in a job like that. Nevertheless, another great series to fill in while I wait for my Mrs. Murphy Mysteries. I'm on book 21 out of 32 in that series and have found myself attached to Harry, Mrs. Murphy, Pewter, and Tee Tucker, along with the rest of the main characters of the series. With a series that spans that long, you watch daughters become mothers. You morn for those lost. I definitely would recommend it. I loved the pocket. I'm glad I'm alive in the modern day. I don't think I would have survived back then. Physically and spiritually, they'd have broken me as I am bold and strong and defiant even for a modern woman. GoodEarthBlessings to both of you.
