Reid, your study on Wrenn is a needed study. In traditional jund, I could see it replacing Dark Confidant to some degree like you tried at first. Like the NBA, Wrenn is Kevin Durant. Bc it’s such an amazing card, your net positive on talent on the team. But once he sat out, you saw a more cohesive style of ball. Put Wrenn on his own team to get a chance at shining. Try a RG Midrange similarly built to GB that’s been around for a little while now. Wrenn, Tireless Tracker, Field of Ruin, 24/26 lands that include raging raving or your cycle lands. Bloodbraid, Scooze, Goyf. It seems pretty stout for a starting point.

@@Kool212 To be fair, you can play a Modern deck in a Legacy event and probably do well. Maybe not at a hyper-event, but Legacy players botch all the time. Just because someone has 3k deck doesn't mean they know what they're doing. And Modern cards are often duplicated in Legacy which is why both format's cost lvl are often on par with each other.

Yeah, didn't understand that one. Yes, playing Wrenn and Six + Liliana in one turn is awesome, but just Wrenn seems fine too (with Lily the next turn). Just felt greedy in a game where he didn't need to be.

This meta was one of the best modern meta games there was. I miss this time

I don't think they are even good against burn cause they are so slow. And life goes on or stuff like that is probably better as a dedicated burn hate i think

Jund has to be the worst (red) deck to play Faithless Looting in. It has almost no graveyard synergies, can use quite a bit of mana and is known to be one of the most consistent decks anyway.

Joshua Freeman because Reid was afraid of Cryptic Command which could bounce Lili to his hand, therefore discarding Lili to her own ability. And if you watch again, you can see that opponent did cast Cryptic.

The end of the 3:16:00 game wouldve been totally different if Reid just started with his IOK or Thoughtsieze from the beggining. But I guess hindsight is 2020

So question. with how strong the graveyard decks seem currently why cut down to only two copy's of ooze?

cauz against the busted graveyard deck is bad(like dredge) cauz is slow, is good only against those deck who use the graveyard as a part of they strategy and not as a all(so like lingering soul deck or snapcaster one) and there aren't a lot out there thats why only 2 ooze i guess
