#Illinois #soils are at risk! Invasive jumping #worms spread easily. There were first found here in 2015 and are now confirmed in almost half of Illinois counties. These voracious eaters harm soil quality in gardens, lawns, and natural areas and strip out much-needed organic matter.

“Blowtorch has entered the chat”
I just found 3 in my Southern California garden. That’s how I found this video. They sure don’t make it easy to report here.
I’ve found if you go out with some dawn dish soap and add it to the ground the all start popping up. I do this weekly widening the area in different areas. Of course some people have big gardens or huge lawns.

You might have just given an idea for a new ad campaign
I have them in my yard, i think they came from a blueberry bush i got from Walmart.
They’re in my yard. I hate them! They’re ruining the whole yard and I have no grass but all weeds that barely have roots. Just weeded the cracks of my driveway and it was full baby jumping worms. So disgusting 😡

To much water and worms help loosen the soil
They are in my yard. West Virginia
They are here in the central Valley California 😢
What can citizen do if there is one spotted in their garden or area?

Kill it by placing in sealed plastic baggie and throw in the trash.
