I hope the little girl still cherishes her feathered friend when she, the girl, is a teenager. Seen too many teens lose interest in the family pet, unfortunately.

What a smart Dad! Doing his research and allowing Big B to settle in and choosing his person. Cockatoos are really amazing and Eshika will always have her best friend!

Yeah, it's a good thing that he bonded so well with the little girl. Big B will most likely outlive the dad, so she will have him for her lifetime.

What an amazing relationship Big B has with Eshika. The way he free flys with her, and rides along on the scooter. They will be bonded for life. Absolutely amazing ❤

We adopted a 36 year old Citron Cockatoo from a rescue. He had a very bad reputation of attacking people and sending them to the Emergency for stitches. Since we have had him he's been very good and never bite anyone

It’s good you let the bird have free reign and open space to live. Birds shouldn’t be caged most of the time, but unfortunately that’s how most of them are kept. Thanks for being a good owner.

Birds have never liked me, but it warms my heart 💕 when I hear the first out of a persons mouth is I did research BEFORE I made a decision. That is the start to something good.

eshika, sweet-one you are absolutely precious n the relationship developed with big-B could catapult you twords animals many years from now!!... there are many birds that one day could really be in need of your service n dedication you are a natural!!... just saying a thought?.?.?. family is sooo important n your covered there so you can do anything with that!!... much LoVe lite n blessings!!... ❤️🪽❤️

Once these beautiful creatures love you, their hearts break if you re-home them. They're a life time commitment depending on how old this beauty is, your looking at 50 plus years. Please feed him the correct food or he will get very sick . Much information on diet from vet or books and Google. Lots of fresh water is a must and bathing, in sink or shower. They love hard and would attack anyone who poses a threat to family members. Thank you for loving and caring for him.❤

Rose Crested Cockatoo. We had a 'mini-cockatoo' when I was a teenager. They tend to imprint on one person. They can be tough to win over, but once they trust you, they'll be like guard dogs.

I used to have an umbrella cockatoo named “Big Bird,” too! He was a cutie and very tame after many years with us. He’s still around but was adopted by a nice family that can give him a better life than we could. I’m always wary of stories with large birds like these, because I personally don’t want them used as pets. They live way too long because lives and ideas and family dynamics change all the time that may not fit having a long living animal in the picture. My Big Bird got along mostly with me, but when I grew up and started my own family, we couldn’t give him the space and entertainment he needed and deserved…along with many other reasons.

that's awsum double BB.... we don't always know at the time n to be able to understand sometimes another home or environment is what's best for the animal n that's the most important selfless right thing to do!!... never know later in life you may get a sign as to why the connection had to happen in the 1first place!!... be well....

In America some bird pets use a tablet or laptop to communicate. Big B. might enjoy using one of those. He could also call friends and chat with them.

Yes. Thank you for sharing this feel good video. We had a cockatail that was the best pet ever. Always kept one wing clipped so he could fly far. Big B loves your family very much to be able to fly away, but doesn't.

I don't think Cruiser does without anything to be honest! I think the five dogs being put in the garage suffer most, so the higher fences make better sense. Getting another dingo, seems extreme, when you are suffering financially, plus on introduction they have to like each other, but also when one dies one will be alone? I would imagine you have gone through all the scenarios so I am just adding to it just in case. I wondered who the blue shirt helpers were in the background.

I have a cockatoo umbrella, she is bite and chew her feathers, she’s happy and screaming, I need to stop her feathers biting, Do you have any idea how to fix

Like hellooo, sickos, that is a person and the parrot is an animal so they are Not related nor will ever be related. They are not siblings, as in Never will be bcz they can not be, literally impossible to be related to a pet. She is not the ''sister'' bcz she is not a parrot to begin with and not the parrot that came out from the same womb as the parrot that gave that parrot birth. Sooo.*
