Best review of the T20S 🍻😄 Someone needs to make a module w/ fan adapter if anyone is concerned about they little digits 🤣🤣 The telemetry issue is regular on my t lite and t pro, doesn’t bother me so long as I have a strong signal to transmit. 😄

Haha, thanks..yeah, that would be a good way to keep the Heatsink cool. I’m sure someone will come up with it soon or later. Or you could wear silicone gloves while flying 😄

Thanks for the review. You are the only person to try using the very slim 4-in-1 external module. If it doesn't work with Frsky D, then might be a deal breaker, as the Radiomaster Boxer is only a few dollars more for the CC2500 model.

I ordered this with Hall effect gimbles and the 4 in 1 in 2.4 less than an hour ago. 😂😂😂 . I've been on the Jumper T16 pro since 2019. If I don't have to replace ribbon cables or switches, I'll be happy.

Haha..The T-18 Pro fixed all those problems including adding a touchscreen. Yeah, I think you’ll be fine with the T20. Thanks!

the rdc sensors press up against the speaker connector on the pcb causing it to break. the switches up top are also awkwardly pressed up against each other and overtightning the swith rings can easily damage the switches. Plain bad design, jumper always doing this dumb shit@@OneManUnmanned

Do you still like it? Im torn between this and the boxer. ( Wish there was a gamepad style controller that matched those 2)

I don’t own the Boxer, so I can’t comment on it, but most reviewers have very positive things to say about it. I myself like gamestyle radios as well. I don’t think you can go wrong with the Boxer, and it has a full size JR bay as well.

14:28 it is just how those old receivers work, you must keep the Tx and Rx at least 1meter apart or Rx radio frontend will saturate stop receiving signal. That new module might be more powerful and so it will saturate receiver easier. Just increase the distance.

I did try a few times off camera at multiple distances.

KababFPV says it has a sht1t0nne of problems with the Gimbals. That's good enough for me, I'll wait for V2. A man that takes a dreml to his radio on a reguar basis to fix things about it that annoy him is hardcore like me. Been there done that.

my jumper t89sg plus hall sensors played up once - servo's on ailerons went super slow like a dead battery - I pulled it apart and cleaned and checked the plugs it's been fine since but for that reason I would get the rdc90. Question I see some planes can get the transmitter to talk eg: altitude, rpm, temp.. can this transmitter do that if get the right plane receiver? I'm old school lol.

I don’t know for wings, but most receivers in FPV quads have the ability to send telemetry back to the radio. The radio can then make certain callouts based on the parameters or if there were limitations set.

I haven't seen a mode 1 model online. Would i have to open the radio and swap arlind the gimbals or cam i adjust a few screws to change tension/modes?

Typically you just adjust the screws in the back to change from mode 2 to 1. I don't think it requires a swap of the gimbals.

It doesn’t come off easily. It fits on there pretty securely.

After you bind you have to restart the radio. Your other radios are not using the new bind but the last one

There is no Bluetooth module in the radio, and don’t know any (off the top of my head) that interacts with this radio.

I don’t think its useless because it doesn’t broadcast info over Bluetooth. Is there many FPV radios on the market that can do that? Maybe the information can be shared via WiFi from the internal ELRS module…I don’t know.

I personally do not like esthetics how those two potentiometer are implemented. They maybe are convenient and ergonomically and fact that they are mandatory but not bountiful :)

I kinda like how it looks but I agree about the UI being all clumped together on one spot, the screen also looks super small too. There are also no dedicated trim switches which would be a little annoying for fixed wing stuff.
