Jumbo Rocks is an amazing campground, but as with everything, it carries both pros and cons. We enjoyed our stay here but there are times when Black Rock or Cottonwood Campgrounds may be a better choice. I cover this and much more in the video!

I met my Norwegian wife in Hidden Valley in '83. Moved to Norway. But was back several times, including with our daughter and mother in law. Joshua Tree is a special place. Salton View is nice and Cholla Garden is magnificent. We hiked as a family from Cottonwood Creek to an oasis. I carried my daughter under my arm on the boulders there. The rock is more grainy in Jumbo rocks. But I remember hiking around slabs with my family. Funny things you remember as you get older (62)

same here! We have to try and go back this year and get one of the campsites near the entrance.
Awesome video man! That camping spot looks epic! I love Joshua Tree national Park! Me and my pup are hopefully making it there this fall in my truck camper I built. You'll have to check my camper out on my channel! Keep up with the awesome content!
