I don't think anyone deserves a holiday more than you, Memo. I hope that you truly get to relax and recuperate some energy back. 🙏 I found my Monstera subpinnata to be a finicky plant. It just never seems fully happy. It's on a moss-pole but the leaves just don't size-up. It's not overly big, so I'm thinking investing in a more mature specimen. I hope you fix the problems with your problem children. And I think that's the first time ever that I've heard you use the bleep-outs 😂🤗

.. I was that child too, wandering about smelling to every flower on my way.. I still can't resist doing just that 🌸☺️ .. I've heard that El Choco Red will eventually lose the colour on the back, when they mature.. Red on the back or not, I've had it on my wishlist for quite some time, but unfortunately it has been out of stock since forever.. I'm patiently waiting ☺️ .. I've been in love with Begonia Brevirimosa since winter but woow it's pricey 😳 maybe I end up buying it anyway, with eyes closed and saying a prayer.. .. You are such a nice person, always so kind and honest and so funny too.. And then I always learn something new from you, that's nice.. Why else would I love to hang out with you, other than the jungle behind you 🤗 Ook, I think my head fell off now, no more rambling from mee.. Have a nice vacation in Greece, stay safe and enjoy yourself to pieces ☘️🤗

Thank you for this update. And yeah, you are an enabler. 😂 I recently got into Begonia and now I want the pink one even more 😂 but I love watching your videos anyway ❤ How did the Calatheas cope with the heat? I find that there are types that hate the heat and roll up their leaves and others seem to thrive. Beach holiday in Greece sounds awesome and I feel you. My family is from Sardinia and I live in Germany. It's been too long since the last beach holiday. It's so frustrating when family posts beautiful beach and sea pictures 😂

My family always feel the need to tell me how warm it is 😅🌊

I had the same thing recently on my Skeleton Key. It stopped when I put a chair underneath it (got it off the floor). I thought it was a light issue (not enough light reaching the lower leaves) as the only light it gets is from a growlight above it. (Putting it on the chair slightly less right beneath the light should fix that if that was the problem) When I “chopped and extended” I did notice that in the bottom part of the pole the small “stemroots” had some rot (I actually think it may have been dryrot), but the large “noderoots” did not. Also, those parts of the stem were still green and show new growth after propping. I think that as long as the stem is still green it should be fine…. but it never hurts to take a cutting to have a backup plant. Also… I never water the soil. All water and nutrients go into the mosspole which I am trying to keep moist at all times, here that means adding water every other day or so (which I am successful at most of the time 😂). Through watering the pole the medium gets some water as well, I have mainly bark an perlite in the nursery pot, just a little cocopeat… And sometimes water ends up in the cachepot and is in there for a while when I forget to check, the (big) roots are fine with that. Just sharing, not sure if this is useful at all

Thanks for the nice updates, mealy bugs and all. As for the skeleton key epi. Mine seems to be a thirsty one as it's getting tons of light . Lack of water might explain throwing the bottom leaves, but the interveinal spots on the top growth on yours look more like a magnesium or iron deficiency, or some other sort of nutrient imbalance, more airflow needed during respiration?? Good luck, definitely take those insurance cuttings just in case.😻
