I've been taking a break from series and reading more different genres lately and it's done wonders and making excited for Epic Fantasy again.

I hardly ever read back to back fantasy books....i'll mix in a different genre in-between each one, especially if it was a big chonker of a fantasy book. But also, there are a lot of really good books in other genres...of course.

Dang. How do you read this much? Incredible.

It's great to see a lot of buzz around Buehlmans latest release. I've been reading his books since like 2013, and his books have always kinda bubbled under.

A busy July! I am also currently reading The Final Empire, but for the first time :). Shogun and The Silverblood Promise are so high on my TBR. Happy reading!

I'm reading The Wandering Inn Matt! Though I'm doing it a bit differently and reading it a chapter or two a week and doing full spoiler recaps on my channel.

​@andybarker8787 I've been barreling through these audiobooks since 11/23. I've been so excited about them, but I've been listening to a podcast called No Killing Goblins. It's been great, but neither of them are listening to the audiobooks, so they keep butchering the pronunciation of the characters and locations! 😂 It's driving me NUTS! 🤦‍♀️

Matt, did you see that book 13 of The Wandering Inn will be out soon? I was SO EXCITED! I'm beginning The Wind Runner soon. I'm reading Brian Lee Durfee's trilogy right now (first time! SOOO good! And I was so excited to see that Tim Gerrard Reynolds is the narrator! Bonus! 🎉)

@@jessezigg I started the series April last year on Matt’s recommendation. I had the first book on kindle and audio with whispersync but the audio book was so good I abandoned the kindle about 200 pages in. I take them everywhere with me. Got to the point I had to drive to Scotland (7 hours each way for me) and I literally couldn’t wait for that trip 😂. Glad you’re liking BL Durfee’s series (hope he gets better soon) I have the first two but the ebook for the third isn’t available in the UK which sucks.

I'm reading Blacktongue Thief right now. I don't even know why I picked it up at this time. It wasn't really on my radar until a couple of months ago. I like the world building so far. I'm only 20% in. I suck at your tbr contest. I'm entering it again for some reason. Lol

I really liked SilverBlood Promise. Look forward to what you think of Curse of Mistwraith since I am starting January.

To anyone wanting to listen to an audio version of The Final Empire, I recommend the Graphic Audio version. They have different voice actors for each part and sound effects. Great narrator, too.

Heroes Die is badass

If you're looking for more audiobook recs I highly recommend She Who Became the Sun by Shelley Parker Chan! Its a historical fantasy reimagining of the founding of the ming dynasty ansd the duology is complete.

I read Curse of the Mistwraith this year. I liked it much more than Hells Chasm (I enjoyed both).

God, I want you to read Between Two Fires by Buehlman so badly. It's such a unique blend of horror and fantasy.

Searched for you on google and can't find it. I follow you for a long time. For example, if MrBeast searches him on Google, he can be found quickly.

Heroes Die is a great audiobook. The narrator Stefan Rudnicki almost reaches Steven Pacey levels of greatness. But just be aware that, IF you end up liking the book, the rest of the series is somewhat polarizing. I loved book 2 and 3. Book 4 is... different. I personally hated it.
