Field of dreams
That's not only the US Open. The first scene with Bobby Jones holing a putt is from the 1930 US Amateur. It was held at Merion Golf Club. You can tell it's Merion because instead of flags on their greens they use upside-down wicker baskets.
The man in white is Horton Smith, who in 1934 became the first Masters champion. he won again in 1936, His career was cut short when a slammed car boot damaged his hand. What a lovely speech he made, a nice reminder of what a gentleman he was.
