Not really. I saw her filming a couple of days outside the building I lived in Queen's Gate Gardens, Kensington back in the early 90's (with Jeremy Irons). She was pleasant enough but no real beauty.

The most striking thing about this is to realize Juliette has been one of the most authentically radiant beauties to grace the screen in my lifetime, a figure who should be ranked at the Audrey Hepburn level across a lengthy and impressive career of proving that a woman's stunning beauty need not distract from recognizing her as a master of her craft as a performer, but that she somehow is still so easily overlooked as both. I am so glad many of the shots here came from The English Patient; in my opinion of that rather revisionist tale of the pure real-life villain-traitor who was Count Olmasy, Ralph Fiennes basically embarrassed himself in that role with more of his typical formulaic over-acting, what's-her-name who played his blonde erstwhile lover was as boring as always, and it was our dear Juliette playing a pretty nurse from Montreal who carried the whole picture. Is there something about her as a person that makes being recognized and upheld less a priority than being an incredible actress you can't take your eyes off of? Is this why she is both so easily forgotten, and so unforgettable, all at once?

Joe Dassin canta esa cancione. Un russo-americano-francès que decia del que se habia demasiado francofonizado. Los franceses no lo acceptaba cuando cantaba en inglès pero tuvo mucho exito cantando en francès.
