Julien Baker is the best

Just found this. Holy shit! She just kills it dead. Also, seems like a lot of people missed the implications of the word “backstage” in the title. No, there’s no mic and yes there are people talking because they are doing the stuff you do backstage. It’s an incidental performance. But the natural reverb of the space is outstanding and the casual nature of the setting accentuates the emotion of the performance. I’m glad to have it as it is. Also, it’s interesting that two thirds of boygenius do outstanding covers of Bruce songs. I wonder if Phoebe has one out there somewhere.
