“Number one show, of course I’ve been in the house.” Lol. They have fantastic chemistry, which probably has more to do with the southern kinship they share than you would think it does. Iced tea, anyone? I love those southern stars (Julia, Sandy, Matthew, just to name a few). She truly is delightful. Always and forever.

We celebrated 23 years this year and I would say the secret is the connection we have, communication and friendship. We have a connection so we know we are meant to be together, we communicate well so we don't argue much and we have a foundation of friendship to fall back on as we work through hard times. Life isn't always rainbows

To be honest, she must have stuff in her forehead. It never moves, it never frowns... But you're right, it does not affect the smile.

She also appeared many times when Dave Letterman was hosting the show. You could tell that Letterman was always in awe of her.

I’ve become aware of a trend on this show and it puzzles me; why do you ask female stars about their male co-stars, but ask the male stars about their life? Why do you make it about the men? Do you think interviews with women cannot stand on their own if they don’t talk about the men they work alongside?

But he did asked about her carrier in a sense that he asked about the movie and normally brought up Clooney because their famous collaboration from the Pretty Woman goes on into this movie they're promoting. The interview is around 3 minutes. Stephen mentioned HIS house in Italy, and SHE talked about her pregnancy and how she was threated. HE never asked about her daily routine, nor her dresses, and especially did not pointed out her private life. Like others said, she's being doing this for 35 years and is married with a camera man whom she never puts in a spot light. Have you noticed that? It was mentioned only because of her anniversary, but so was Stephen's. If it was George on this interview, he would have asked about the up coming movie AND probably HIS WIFE AMAL, who was famous in her own right, but in showbiz she is the woman with whom George settled down and had kids with. So George is the one who is almost always praised about his looks, his dating life and about his life as a married man and father. Either by man or female interviewers. Give credit where credit is due, this is not Scarlett Johansson's type of press questioning.

Everything you express with your eyes also reflects on the forehead. If the forehead doesn't move, it's because it's been shut down.

Yes, it does fail the Bechdel Test. And I also love Stephen. I’m sure it’s not at all intentional and I know they agree upon their talking points in advance, but it is slightly disappointing. He did a similar interview with (I think) Helen Mirren, and almost all the questions were about the men she’d worked with. I just think, when you get a legend on the show, keep the focus primarily on her.
