Even after releasing such stunning songs Julia is still underrated in the industry. She has been a songwriter for many amazing songs but this one takes the cake. & Of course Niall's voice is angelic, he is a sweetheart!

I love the details of this video, he’s zoned out because he’s not there anymore she’s shouting screaming but in reality she’s all alone he already moved on and she didn’t. That really hit way too deep in my heart cuz I can relate.

And in julia mv, lauv’s lying on the couch they were sitting together on in the there’s no way stripped version video. Only now I realize julia’s also sitting on a couch alone in this mv.

The fact that Niall is not there in the video shows this song is about Julia and it's so personal to her like whenever you watch any of their lives performances she always tears up and her voice definitely breaks at some point in the song and you can practically hear her emotions and I think it's so beautiful 🥺💓

When I first heard this song I really liked it but didn't FEEL it . Went through a breakup yesterday and now I truly feel and understand it. Almost cried when the lyrics changed to "what a lie" . Guess it's true what I read some dsys ago, ' When you're happy you only enjoy the music , when you're sad you understand the lyrics. ' Thank you for all the replies and likes. Really means a lot to me. And it's helpful in a way. And to anyone who may be going through such pain, it may not seem like it , but you'll get better...eventually...❤💖
