Have You In My Wilderness was easily the best album of 2015.

Too true. And how underrated and the little exposure it got compared to the absolute crap that's churned out these days. Real music, real talent is on the endangered list more and more..

I love Julia Holter, but Carrie and Lowell was the best album of 2015.

@@LeMAD22 Both HYIMW and Carrie and Lowell were average, inoffensive indie pop albums (though HYIMW was a bit better in terms of songwriting, Julia is very talented in that field). Aviary, however, is easily one of the best albums of the decade so far.

fair enough @Thomas Corley , but Thank Your Lucky Stars was a pretty solid one I thought.
I first saw her in a tiny bar in Silverlake, I was already mesmerized. Since then, so much great music and she keeps creating and inventing. One of my favorites.
God bless youtube, one more time. I would never know this, here in Brasil, listening radios or watching tvs.
Everything she does comes off understated but also extremely honest and vibrant, wonderful.
Great performance, I love this women and her band
I want a full video split down the middle just with facial expressions from Devin and Corey.
Silhouette = goosebumps
That bass player is awesome!
Julia Holter's music is sublime.
Thank you!!! Watched her live in London, it was amazing.
really miss the sax in 'sea calls me home' but love this!

i was thinking the same when i was watching this too, the sax brings so much personality to the song and BUT this version is also lovely!!
Been waiting for this for quite some time! Thank you KEXP
I love how nobody gets her joke about sleeping in a grand piano. I love her so much.
she's is good at what she does and has such an erudite vibe that i thought at first that she was a very serious person, but this video proved me wrong and i love that
fantastic set,thanks
superb singer and amazing songs love JH she's so cool.
This is so amazing, I fucking love Julia Holter.
PURE GOLD!
Digging that stand up bass
Magnificent!

Enorme 💜
Too original! Sensitive. I think i could fly hearing this.
lovely
Come to México!
some of the cadences in her vocals remind me of Caroline from Chairlift's. especially those on the "Something" album. I dig it
maravilla!
the next pj harvey: beautiful and a genius
God dam!
Alta genia
good
Love Holter's music. Seeing her live tonight in San Francisco. Unrelated, but the drummer often looks like he's yawning, ha
im the scarf of the bass guy
The drummer is bloody awesome. I thought he broke the skin on the bass drum because he was just giving it hard. Hate to say it, but he might be better having a rip doing Led Zeppelin covers.

KZread has a way of brining out the worst in people at times and your comments demonstrates that I am no exception. My apologies.

And the worst in spelling, "bringing", not binging or brining (is that a form of pickling?).

No offense taken at all. Quite the opposite it was cathartic and corrected my manners. You made an excellent point about the artists as well. Best, JC

Why is that?
@AndrewTheOnlyLegend

+johnabc420 Well I'm guessing you asked that because you're into feminism and you were wondering if this artist you like is also into it? But it has nothing to do with the music or the lyrics, just a very random question

it really has nothing to do with that, Larry
I know she wants to be recognized only by her deep, nice music, but a bit of make up wouldn't hurt...
