Julia Hartley-Brewer slams Rebekah Vardy/Coleen Rooney court battle
Rebekah Vardy is to enter the witness box for a third time in her High Court libel battle against Coleen Rooney.
The TV personality faced about half an hour of questioning on the first day of the trial on Tuesday, before about five hours of cross-examination by Mrs Rooney’s barrister, David Sherborne, on Wednesday.
Mrs Vardy, who was watched throughout by Mrs Rooney, who sat metres away in the courtroom, at one point grew tearful at the start of a question about some of the abuse she and her family have received.
Mrs Vardy will go back into the witness box on Thursday and is expected to finish her evidence, with Mrs Rooney due to begin hers on Friday.

My thoughts are this sums up why Gary Lineker needs to be told to shut up.Footballers,ex footballers and their wives live in a “let them eat cake”world divorced from reality.Why anything so petty and childish should be of interest to anyone beyond any given playground is beyond anybody that does something a little more worthy to society than kicking an inflated pigs bladder around. What Gary,Colleen,Gazza ,wazza and bazza do is a nice bit of entertainment but that’s all it is.Their world view is minuscule and it’s high time someone asked them hard questions when they take high profile stances on big issues.Let’s all take the knee and still play in a World Cup in slave built stadia shall we?Don’t tell me”raising awareness”,vague virtue signalling get out of jail free,can’t really be held to account for a firm position card

That it is a great insult to one of the best and most prolific authors this country ever produced, to bastardise her name in association with a couple of dumb chav fishwives.

To suggest that Colleen Rooney is a success in her own right is stupid! If she hadn't met Wayne she would just be another ordinary woman whom I wouldn't even notice when I walk past her in Walton Asda.
