Moyes wouldn't work as a Head Coach, with Tim Steidten as Technical Director in charge of recruitment. Moyes wants full control so he turned down what the club offered him. He's too stubborn to change

I live in Spain, I've seen quite a lot of him , over the years , I like the fact that he learned his trade under Johan Cruyff at Barca . A bit of that style & mentality will be well received. He's a strong bloke , not mentally weak , let's hope Sullivan keeps out of the way . He did great in the Spanish under age teams , & was 20 odd games unbeaten with the first team , so he knows how to work with the kids . I wish him luck , I hope he succeeds

Head Coach being the key word, I am glad we are adapting to the modern times. Having a head coach purely focusing on football matters and nothing else surely has to be much more effective. Welcome Julen.

tbf he was given a net spend of 35m over 2 windows and the club went and sold 3 key players, 2 of which he just signed when he started so this notion about needing cash is a bit overblown, what happened at wolves was untenable, a setup for failure

The very first time we tried, we invested $1000 and after a week, we received $4500. That really helped us a lot to pay up our bills.

I'm not sure what's more offensive, the fact they have put subtitles on his interview or the fact they are oblivious that 99% of our fan base visit Spain every August ⚒️

Nice to hear the references to Tim. Please maintain a positive and highly ambitious working relationship with each other, and we can move from strength to strength. I will be communicating my thoughts as often as possible. We need to first, maintain the work rate and commitment that Moyes set, and then start to develop a more expansive approach. Hopefully, Lopo's skill set in terms of languages means we can start recruiting a more dynamic and diverse group, allowing Tim to focus solely on ability and economy. The board needs to back Tim so that Tim can back Lopo, and Lopo can bring some world-class football to West Ham United. COYI.
