According to people who were at GBB, Julard's bass sound was several times louder than that of the other contestants except for Lennsi. aku ni gk suka ama jullard krn dia itu kyk ngambil space nya marvelous pas roundny marvel mulai, kykny jullard tau marvel gugup dan gk banyak gerak kyk jullard krn pasti yah di atas panggung jd dia manfaatin untuk ngambil stage presence nya marvel dengan cara deket deketin dia ampe pojok sampe marvel gk keliatan kamera barat, gk keliatan audiens di barat dan bahkan tempat buat marvel bergerak cuman di pojokan itu jadi gk respect ku sama org² macam dia, mending lawan orang korea meskipun agak² rasis sama yang asia tenggara tapi masi respect dan kasi tempat buat marvel beraksi

@@maskidjc that's how the battles work, you can see the same behavior in the other battles from all the beatboxers, you are supposed to excel in everything more than the opponent, and marvelous should and could have done just that, for sure he would have had more chances to win

I have seen the final and when Julard vs Marvelous it was clear that the audience was clapping more for Marvel, I'm not very familiar with beatbox so can someone explain to me how the judges determine the winner?

I can’t speak for the judges, but I personally think Julard won due to better structure, power, and stage presence. These are all things you begin to pick up on if you listen to more beatbox. But still at the end of the day it’s music, which is completely subjective.

People supported marvelous more because he was here all alone and against all odds, he had everything against him, a real underdog who took everyone by surprise. Julard was obviously better but marvelous's run was so surprising than the crowd was taken by the hype.

皆Julardを多く否定的なコメントが見られるが個人的にJulardは今大会で頭1つ抜けているように感じた。理由は彼独特の構成、バトルスタイル、テクニック、何より音圧。Marvelousは確かにヤバかったがJulardには届かないものがあった。だからこそ彼が1位になった。

Not the real winner! 2nd place looser and didnt like his attitude also. Marvelous won 1st place. This GBB and Swissbeatbox smells fishy in general. They and judges always give win to french guys or people they like more/friends but not from the beatbox stand point. Dilip and Marv had the best beat drops also. Napom was a bit better the River, should also be 1st place. Robin was awesome I have to admit he deserves to be a winner. Just alot of strange stuff going on that are not right.

He wasn't, crazy combos but timing was off, unclean at times. This guy was Loud and clean. Not to mention his timing is impeccable 👌. Marvelous will definitely destroy when he gets cleaner, works on timing and finds a better way to hold the mic. Not to mention stage presence
