It wasn't really his psychotic side. I believe it was more him trying to be more like Yuji and Gojo in the sense that they think themselves to be above their foe, whereas Megumi is usually thinking about best option to survive.

Seeing Megumi going all out and laughing like that gave me chills. Everything in that scene was perfect, the animation, the voice acting and ofcourse the OST 🔥

I loved how he simply laughed, almost gurgling blood, and just saying "It's incomplete". You can see the amount of desperation broke him down to his core instincts

You guys need to read manga to understand how significant this is in JJK world. Megumi is one of only 2 people who unlocked Domain Expansion. Gege Akutami explained that Domain Expansion is a technique based the self-understanding. Cursed spirits use it more easily due to their simplier nature than human. A human using Domain Expansion is a big fking deal. Edit: Potential man has arrived 😭🤣

Megumi is such an amazing character and I can't wait to see more of his story animated. He is by far my favorite person in all of anime. Also his Chimera Shadow Garden was not only badass in its abilities, but the music choice for its debut was absolutely killer!!!!!!!!

Fushiguro Megumi freely surpassed my expectations, one of the best character arcs for a first season

This is exactly why I love this anime, everyone has their own story, anyone can be the main character, everyone has a purpose, a goal, and ambitions. And unlike cliché “hero” personalities, they each have flaws, like humans would.

Yuji started way after megumi did because megumi started young when he first met gojo, so instead of Itadori training for a little while and being the strongest like some other anime’s/shows he levels alongside his class mates.

Dude we've been waiting for Megumi to use a more powerful technique all season. He kept getting stopped by everyone. First in episode 5 when he was going to use it against Sukuna but stopped because Yuji came back, in episode 9 he was about to use it against Todo but was stopped by the interference of Panda and Toge, THEN in episode 18 he was going to use it against Hanami and was stopped by Toge on the rooftop.

Bro this theme fits so well with how megumi develops he went from always playing the sacrifice and aiming for second best like the baseball match as why gojo said then as he is about to do it again fighting the special grade by summoning mahoraga he finally realises and goes all out instead of just doing the same thing over and over again getting nowhere he uses his domain. Such beautiful writing 👌

The show had many moments where megumi almost used his domain but got interrupted in some way or just stopped And now after all those moments when he finally does use it *it’s EPIC*

I bet his Domain Expansion when it takes a structure (True form), is probably gonna be like a Traditional Japanese Garden and the Shadows will pop out like ninjas.

This is some super villain shit I LOVE IT

The fact that Megumi reached MC-level power in just one episode shows that he will be a great fit for Yuji in the future arcs.

I like how at the start it has this cheerful vibe to it, which covers when Fushigoro smiles and says "screw it" and then it starts to get serious at like 0:14, and that's when Fushigoro gets serious as well
