Here it was more of a basic assumption and taking the laws into account. Both times were absolutely the most and probably only reasonable times he tries to/does summon Mahoraga. Outside of the Sukuna incarnation incidents, every other time was just either petty or defeatist.

Jujutsu Kaisen reminds me so much of Naruto and Bleach but in a way that I appreciate its inspiration and not assume that it is unoriginal. It has many elements of its own that allows it to stand out separately from those two as well.
