i mean since it looks like they played 1-3-1 zone defense most of the game I'd image if they tried to double her they would have just lost by more points

The person who created the Triangle 📐 ▶️ offense was the Hall of Fame Coach Justin McCarthy " Sam" Barry the head coach of University of Southern California between 1921-41 and 45 - 50. Tex Winters played for him in college for the USC Trojans in 1940's. He was born in South Dakota while if I am correct Phil Jackson was born in North Dakota.

Well if something is broke fix it, how do you fix the WNBA by getting more exciting players in.

@@Michael-of6zf Absolutely. It's stars that we want to watch. Not "vvomen's sports." WDGAF about gender politics. The WNBA spends too much time marketing itSELF instead of its stars. It markets vvomen instead of star athletes. Example: You will hear sports announcers who are WNBA analysts and former WNBA players/coaches compare Caitlyn Clarke to Sue Bird. She doesn't compare to Sue at all. She's better than Sue #1. And #2, Clarke compares to Steph Curry/Jason Kidd pound for pound. Her playing style is JUST like them. JuJu compares to Kobe Bryant. Comparing her to Cheryl Miller is inaccurate. They only do it because she's a vvoman. Same with Paige Buekers. She's more like Cheryl Miller. And even then, Paige is more Ray Allen than Cheryl Miller. It's funny how vvomen are the first to be gender biased against themselves. That's the WNBA's problem. College Hoops has clearly learned how to market its stars. The WNBA hasn't. They should even take on the same nicknames as their male teams if they share a host city. For instance, instead of the LA Sparks...Why not have the LA Lady Lakers or simply the Lakers. They don't even say "Lady Trojans" on their jerseys. It's the same as the mens. The pros need to do the same thing. We don't just buy stars and rivalries, we buy BRANDS! Nobody gives a chit about WNBA jerseys. Hell, vvomen don't even buy them. Seattle Storm should call themselves the Sonics, same as the Lynx being the TWolves. Las Vegas should stay the Aces because they don't have a men's NBA team yet. But when they do...Call the men the Aces too. That truly shows lack of gender bias. But watch the vvomen argue that they want their own identy. Okay, pay your own way then. (But they won't. They still depend on the NBA. Typical fee-males want "independance" from men while being totally dependent on men.) VVomen's College Hoops has stopped doing that and this is why they're more exciting. I don't even watch men's NCAA hoops. They're boring. All the college age guys I'd pay to watch go to the pros early. (But that's another topic lol) This new crop of ladies coming out of college in the next four years will save the WNBA. But unfortunately I think the WNBA will sabotage it and fumble the bag because of "old habits" I mentioned earlier.

The defenders have to get all the way up on her and make her put the ball down and drive. She was scoring on pull-up jumpers the whole game. They were giving her too much space.
