Me too! But I’m in 7th now. I’m practicing everyday, it’s a little strenuous , but it’ll be all worth it in the end ☺️

I’m a 12 year old seventh grader, sitting in the car watching videos on a school full of talent and determination. My goal is Juilliard, and it has been for a while now. Many of my friends think it’s pointless to study theatre and things of that nature, but it isn’t pointless to me. There is so much I want to do, so much I want to experience. Watching these videos has become my motivation to be the best I can without trying to compare myself too much. It’s impossible for me to imagine a future where the arts are not a part of my life... so I’ll keep working and hopefully, I’ll hit the stage someday.

dream school, but i get too nervous at any audition so theres no way its gonna happen :( EDIT: thank you everyone!! Y'all are so sweet however I'm going to school for biology now, BUT I am going to try to audition for my school's orchestra (Rice University) because they have an amazing music school/program. EDIT: 4 years later and I play violin in one of Rice's orchestras yay

I come here because of Putri Ariani. If Putri hadn't told us about Juilliard in AGT, I wouldn't have known what Juilliard is forever. Never heard before.

Im 15, from Brazil I was confused on wich college or carreer i should apply, but Juilliard ignited the passion of music inside me even more and now i am considering following this path and on the next two years i will be dedicating all my time to pass (and have a scholarship because it is expensive for Brazil's standarts), thanks Juilliard!

It's 2022 and right now I'm 12 and in 7th grade. When I was 7 years old I always wanted to be a singer, I still have that dream and I have chosen to go to Juilliard for my music career. I'm Mexican and want to sing in Spanish but I'm not going to let that affect my dream to go to Juilliard. I hope that Juilliard can help me have my dream to become a singer come true

Acting I beileve is one of the best ways for me to express how I feel and is also one of my best hobbies. I've always have taken drama classes and I will keep doing so. My dream is to go to this fantastic school and if I could I will do so.

I’m 12 years old and my dream is to become a guitarist. I remember talking about my future career with my friend and they brought up this college. Ever since then going to Juilliard has been one of my main goals.

I’m not even in high school yet I’m still in middle school and Juilliard is my dream! There is nothing more I’ve wanted then this. I can’t wait to apply in a few years. This school is an absolute dream. As of now I’m in 3 honors classes and take chorus and I’m going to a theatre summer camp soon also and I take piano classes and singing classes outside of school! I cannot wait to submit my application and audition! I know I’ll get in. See you soon, Juilliard.

I don't think it should be a tough school to get into. If someone is great and meets the criteria then they should be accepted. But hope you get in!

Omg, I started to cry when it was showing the tour! (apically when he showed that band portion) I am only in 6th grade going to 7th, and Juilliard is my top choice! I did a report on it, and I even said that it is the best arts program ever! I don't care if I am right or wrong, but in my opinion it's the best!

I’m a classical and jazz bass player at a performing arts high school, and I’ve never been more certain of anything; This is what I want to do with my life. I’ll pour my soul into it and hopefully it will be enough to get into Juilliard, but no matter what I love my instrument and I love making music!

I started cello six months ago, i am the best player in my class, i have learned both the cello and violin pieces for our upcoming concert on the cello and am currently working towards also playing the violin. If i try really hard i might be able to get into Juliard, hope you see me on your campus soon!

I'm planning on trying to get into Juilliard when I'm older. I'll be a musician there if I get in. I play lots of instruments and really want a successful career in music. I make my own music and can play by ear and read music. I'm not much now, but in 4 or 5 years, I hope to apply and become successful.

even though i'm only fourteen, i have wanted to go to juilliard for the longest time, and i can't wait until i have the opportunity to audition in four years! i know the chances are slim, but it's my dream and i intend on giving it my all ♡ i am a double bassist!!

I’ve heard about this school from so may people but I didn’t know it was this awesome! Going out of state may be costly, but I want to peruse my music and theatre career. So going here is on the top of my college list!

I’ve wanted to go here since the fifth grade, and I’ve visited the school. I want to be a drama major and I’m so excited to see if I get there ❤️

I’m going to New York in a little under 2 years for my schools theatre trip and it’s all based on music and drama workshops and I’m really hoping I get to at least see the exterior of Juilliard!!! Ahh I’m beyond excited!😅

I'm from Mexico, and I've already graduate from university, with a degree in Communication Sciences. There I found my singing teacher who is a Baritone, with his class at school I discovered a passion for singing and now that I can afford the private lessons my objective is to apply to Julliard

I’ve been teaching myself dance and can turn and all of that and I’m going to be going to ballet school soon. I love performing and improv and I’ve been interested in this school for a while. I know you need three years of dance but if I start now I’ll only have two since I’m in sophomore year already

I'm a violinist and I really wanna go there for college but it's so far from where I love

Going into high school this year, Juilliard’s drama program is my dream. I’ve been doing theatre since I was 7 and it has brought me so much joy. When Covid hit, it was hard. No theatre, hardest year ever. Theatre makes me so happy, so I’m trying to get ideas flowing for applications in a few years. I look forward to applying :)

Juilliard is famous now especially in Indonesia because being mentioned by Putri Ariani in AGT 2023 some days ago, and also being heard by almost 40million viewers on youtube who whatch Putri's performance.

This is such an amazing and beautiful place. It’s the only college I would even consider attending. I know their acceptance rate is sooo small, but I really want to take a chance anyway! Definitely the drama division!

Dear Juilliard, I'm a 22 year old college student who did theater all throughout my Elementary, Middle, and High School years. I even snagged a spot in my advance Theater program Junior through Senior year- I actually ended up with half my classes being theater ones my Senior year just because I love it so much. After I graduated though, I fell away from Theater and just sort of drifted through college because I had been told by people much older that Theater wasn't a "real job". It also didn't help that I really didn't have passion for anything else. Last semester however I took Theater for my Fine Arts credit and it relit my passion for Theater and after careful consideration I've decided that pursuing a career in Theater is what I'm meant to do with my life. I chosen to finish getting my Associates Degree in Business because I'm only a few classes away. After I complete that I'm going to dedicate an entire year brushing up on the skills that have gotten more than a little rusty. I plan on joining an improv group, auditioning for local performances, finding a voice coach, finding a dancing instructor, and retaking some theater courses at a community college. What are some other things I can do to prepare myself for an audition?
