Juice commercial for Tamara Juice. Fluid simulation

At yansmedia.com/ we used fluid simulation, to explain the new concept of a packaging.
Tamara Juice was looking for a cool way to present the new packaging. The thing is, that you can’t say “Hey check out my new stuff. Is it cool? Wanna buy one?” On the other side the transforming from the old packaging to a new one is common trick, isn’t it? We suggested to use VFX fluid simulation (liquid animation). Check out how we’ve done it. Wanna buy one?)

Fluid animation refers to special effects techniques for generating realistic animations of fluids like water and smoke. Fluid animations area unit generally targeted on emulating the qualitative visual behavior of a fluid, with less stress placed on strictly correct physical results, though they usually still admit approximate solutions to the mathematician equations or Navier-Stokes equations that govern real fluid physics. Fluid animation will be performed with totally different levels of quality, starting from long, high-quality animations for films or visual effects, to straightforward and quick animations for period animations like PC games
Development
The development of fluid animation techniques supported the Navier-Stokes equations began in 1996, once Nick Foster and Dimitris Metaxas enforced solutions to 3D Navier-Stokes equations in a very special effects context, basing their work on a scientific CFD paper by Jean Harlow and Welch from 1965. Up to it purpose, a range of easier ways had primarily been used, together with ad-hoc particle systems, lower dimensional techniques like height fields, and semi-random turbulent noise fields. In 1999, Jos Stam printed the "Stable Fluids" technique, that exploited a semi-Lagrangian temperature change technique and implicit integration of viscousness to supply categorically stable behavior. This allowed for abundant larger time steps and thus quicker simulations. This general technique was extended by Ronald Fedkiw and co-authors to handle additional realistic smoke and fireplace, moreover as complicated 3D water simulations victimization variants of the extent set technique.
Fluid simulation Software
Many 3D special effects programs implement fluid animation techniques. RealFlow is also a standalone business package that has been accustomed prove visual effects in movies, tv shows, commercials, and games. RealFlow implements a fluid-implicit particle convergent thinker, a hybrid grid, and a particle technique that enables for advanced options like foam and spray. Maya and magician area unit 2 alternative 3D special effects programs that alter fluid animation.Mixer 3D is academic degree open offer 3D lighting tricks program that utilizes a particle-based Lattice Ludwig Boltzmann technique for revitalizing fluids..

Great stuff. The slow motion thing I am able to do on my own. But how do you get the tetra packs that merge and liquid vanishes? i use 3ds Max, would be great to know.
